Track your Tundra when in "F" status on the train

so for mine it says “delivered” could this still be in transit?

Yall didnt get this information from a dealer in SW VA lol. I dont want dealers calling me pissed because Im telling people where their vehicles are. Some dealers are taking bids on vehicles these days and seeing who will offer the most.

 

Ive had some switch from GT to G and they havent been dropped yet. Not to say this one isnt but it does happen from time to time, also Ive had a vehicle or 2 dropped at wrong dealership before. Thats always fun

Got the call from the dealer this morning. The truck is finally here and I’m picking it up today around 1:30-2pm!! I wanted to give a huge shoutout and thank you to BobbyZ for helping me track it earlier on. We were able to reschedule our plans and saved money thanks to you letting us know where the truck was actually located!

Hi All, new member here. Quick question. I Ordered/paid a deposit on my ‘22 Tundra Crewmax SR July 22. The dealer gave an ETA about 2 weeks ago of 8/25. He reached out last week to advise no VIN yet, but didn’t mention a change to the ETA. Is it unlikely that the truck will arrive at ETA this week, since a VIN hasn’t been produced yet?

 

If there is still no VIN, you wont be seeing that truck next week. One thing Ive seen/heard from customers is dealers taking deposits and giving them an ETA upfront. Its impossible to do that on an order, we stopped doing orders and deposits because you can come in and give me a deposit for me to order a truck and I can submit the order but Im not guaranteed that the order will get accepted at all. We only order vehicles twice per month so we have to keep trying every time allocation rolls around. The last order I attempted was for a Sienna and it took 3.5 months before the order was even accepted. Yall think Tundras are hard to get, try to get a new Sienna right now and youll really feel the struggle, its nuts.

 

Good thing weve been a little slow this Saturday, I bet Ive tracked down 10 vehicles today for people lol. Maybe I can start getting $5 per search, I gotta eat too. JK

I appreciate that, reach out anytime ya need anything. Just a heads up though, sometimes I do actually have to do some work here at the dealership...today was just a bit slow. Good weather Saturdays can be like that sometimes, people are out in the yard instead of on my asphalt. That said, it might take a bit longer sometimes to respond but Ill try to get to everyone and help out as much as I can. Im the GM here so I might can also help out some people with some parts as well, I can get some things to my parts manager and see if I can help out in any way possible.
