I am looking to upgrade to dual exhaust on my tundra I am looking for the most exterior sound without sacrificing interior sound

I am currently looking at the flowmaster force II system

any suggestions would be very welcome

Call 1-760-877-4234, ask for Keith. Tell him what you're after and be prepared to learn about Tundra exhaust systems.

I found that the TRD system made from stainless steel is just right for my 1794. Plus it's Toyota made. If you order it through your Toyota dealer you don't pay shipping. $1055
No droning on the highways either.

DietyDeeds as mentioned. Stay away from Flowmaster. I had one before...I lost low end torque.

I’ve had TRD and Keith’s BAMufflers (aka DirtyDeedsIndustries). They’re both good options.

Thanks guys!! To the OP, you lose low end torque if you run dual exhaust on a 5.7 without running long tube headers.

give a call and I can explain what your best options are based on your requests.

@dirtydeeds i respect the fact that you have been labeled the Tundra Exhaust Guru. Basic High Level question... if i were to keep it simple with a Single muffler of my choice, No duals, no crazy H/X pipe, will i lose tq or any overall performance? would there be a gain in performance? (agreed muffler choice plays a role). Stock 2017 1794, don't want a race car, only pull 3,500lb boat occasionally, my ultimate goal is better sound not necessarily increased hp/tq. i read your comment above that duals without headers creates a loss in tq...

Just about any flow thru design muffler properly sized will gain 3-10hp and 10-20tq to the rear wheels over stock snd won’t lose low end torque if using stock tubing.

that said, there’s a way to make it drone more and not be able to resolve it, and there’s a way to make it drone less. We have thst all worked out. Which would be important if you’re pulling a boat.

:rofl:I love making noise. I pull my 4K lb travel trailer with my 8 inch and no resonator. Nothing like that sound creeping through a campground lol. Noise means business....to hell with electric vehicles :D.

If you want a quality product that was developed from research, knowledge, and commitment that is hand made in America by a small business you will find no better that BA mufflers @dirtydeeds ! Give Kieth a call. I have the 8" standard and it is badass! Great dude and is definitely the master of his craft. Your other option could be a big corp that is profit f=driven and produces products off of an assembly line.
