End of summer/Labor Day sale begins today! All Setrab Series-9, 15-Row transmission cooler kits are 10% off (while supplies last). Head over to and use code “summerend10” to take advantage of this sale before our supplies run out.

As some of you may know, the 2019-2021 Tundra’s and Sequoia’s do not come with a transmission cooler. Instead, they have a heat exchanger that uses the hot coolant from the engine in an effort to cool your transmission. This method of cooling is not effective for many owners that tow, off-road, or just live in a hot climate. You may not even know your transmission is overheating as the Tundra does not have a transmission pan temperature gauge. If you have seen a warning on your dash displaying “High Transmission Fluid Temp”, this means the ATF in the transmission pan has reached 302° F (operating temperature of Toyota ATF WS is 68-221° F). Although you may not have seen this warning before, you could still be running well above the max operating temperature of 221° F without knowing.

Each kit features OEM Toyota parts from the thermostat to the piping routed underneath the truck to the cooler. Additionally, only quality Susa hose and fittings are provided as aftermarket parts to complete each kit, ensuring reliability and performance of the transmission cooling system.

The Setrab, Series-9, 15-row cooler kit offered by Genuine Cooling Systems is the closest to a direct factory replacement transmission cooler for the 5.7L Tundra on the market today. For owners wanting more cooling efficiency over the 15-row, the 20-row will provide that (limited quantity remaining).

We do offer transmission cooler kits for the 4.6L Tundra as well as an “add on” transmission cooler kit for the 2011-2018 5.7L Tundra.

I have the full house MHX kit. It is amazing. I haven't seen a pan temp of 200F yet and not even close even in 111F weather.

I just tried out the Veepeak scan tool, did a short drive around town and then drove up the steepest hill in my town. It’s only about a 60 second drive up the hill if you punch it. My temps rose from 198 to 223 quickly, with no load at all. Drove around town for another 10 min and my temps would not drop below 215. I’d feel much more confident driving my camper and work trailer with my cooler when I get it installed

I had similar numbers unloaded on the highway. Now it's pretty much nailed at 180 on highway unloaded

This setup going up Siskiyou Pass after I installed the 20 row kit. Before, they'd have the trans overtemp warning and would've had to stop to let it cool down.
You'll be happy with the kit.

Question. Interested in the 20-Row. I saw they are available again, are you planning on continuing them or do I need to scoop it up now and "pay later" with the wife. @Genuine Cooling Systems

Josh, we only have (8) 20-row kits left in stock and currently do not have plans to make more. The reason we recently offered the 20-row kit was to offset the shortage we had with the 15-row coolers at Setrab USA, which now has been resolved. What we found is that the Setrab Series-9, 15-Row cooler performs very well paired to the 5.7L Tundra, even while under a heavy load near max tow capacity. Although the 20-Row is a larger cooler by 25%, you will not see much difference in your pan temperatures between the two coolers due to the thermostat regulating ATF flow to the cooler to maintain a pan temperature of ~ 180-221F.

Hope this helps make a decision.

I’m looking for the instructions for the 20Row on the website. Can’t seem to find them. I’m assuming the assembly is identical, aside from the heat exchanger assembly portion?

Everything is the same for the 20 as the 15, except you don't need to flip the top corner bolt on the cooler mounting bracket. The youtube install video on the site is great too.
