Just as title says. Anyone heard anything what we can expect in that matter? Asked couple of dealers but got nothing.

Now that Toyota knows that dealers can charge $10k over the MSRP they’re going to raise the price on the 2023’s to keep the dealers from engaging in price gouging.

I bet Toyota will raise the MSRP on the 2023's. They even raised the MSRP on the 2022's by $700 a few months back.

IMO, Toyota should raise MSRP by 5-10k to limit dealer markup. If it turns out that trucks sit on the lot, they can start giving cash backs. At least they will have more control of pricing that way.

Yeah I don't think we've seen that $700 hike in Canada this year (someone can correct me if I'm wrong). Other brands had it. But I know it's coming. Price hike paired with rising interest rates will be frustrating. That sheet of paper I signed back in May is not worth anything now, lol.

Comment of the day! Hell, charge $5G more, if it means no ridiculous issues!

I would hope most of the issues are already worked out for MY23. Mine had a July build date and the only thing I would consider an issue is the fuel gauge not being accurate. Haven't notice sunroof leaks, door rattles, or any of the other things others on here with earlier build dates have complained about.

Dealers will markup the trucks either way…as long as there is a soul willing to pay it there will be a dealer to sell it.

I guess Rams are not selling as well as other trucks. They are offering $8500 to $9000 rebates.

I just noticed that today. Local dealer is around $7,800 off msrp for some of their 1500’s. They also show about 20-30 sitting on the lot (actual picture ls of them). Ford and Chevy are definitely not like that around here.

June build date here, 6/10 specifically, and no complaints. So far I’ve had zero issues and none of the things I’ve read about on here except the gap on the rear window seals. They do not pop out, but the gap is there.

I wanted a faster vehicle so I also bought a Chevy SS... because 4 door sedans with big V8’s are hilarious.
Inflation and recessions hit lower income people first and harder. That is probably Ram/Dodge/Chrysler customers more so than Toyota buyers.

I dunno man…it’s not like those are significantly cheaper during normal times and a decent amount of Tundra owners have probably owned or cross-shopped those vehicles.

Yea, I'd say the Ram Limited is comparable to the Tundra Platinum but it is quite a bit more expensive. Even if the above rebates are really happening, that still puts a Limited around what I paid or maybe still more. I'd have to see those rebates in person to believe it, the way things are selling nowadays.

Those Ram Limited Night Editions are pretty awesome though. I think one of the coolest features of the Ram is the reclinable rear seats.

Sure, if you look strictly at numbers.

It’s just that Dodge/Ram/Chrysler are more popular with lower income people. They’re perfectly happy to cram folks into 84 month loans to get them into a payment. I see lots of Ram trucks, Chargers, Challengers etc in low income neighborhoods.

Now they’ll be running 96 month loans on the 100k EV Charger

I would never even consider a Ram so I did not look at models. I do know it is a end of the model year deal.
