Made a couple paracord grab handles, I know they are a lil redundant with the pillar mounted handle, but I had them in my old Taco and my kids loved them, so I made a set for the Tundra. 20220815_164331.jpg

Thanks for posting these pics, I was fairly convinced I wanted these steps and now the pics confirm it for me. Just one question, how's the surface feel? To me it looks like they would be super slick when wet?

well its been raining since i have put them on, i have felt no slipperiness to them at all, they do have a textured finish to them, they also don't hang very low like some others that i have seen if your worried about clearance

Finally had time to get my Westcott preload lift put on. I was riding around on 35s for a few thousand miles already, so I can say that the biggest difference in ride from stock was just the tires. With the Westcott there is a tiny tiny bit more front sensitivity but the rear feels the same.
I drove it around a bit after just to feel things out, and while I will get an alignment due to some positive camber that I just kind of eyeballed, everything else is pretty well lined up.
Sorry for the pics, it’s getting dark here. Truck is a filthy dirty mess anyway.974EA7AD-3438-4D25-899C-3FF0BAE0FF13.jpg

Yeah, deciding if I like it before spending a bunch on an actual carbon fiber one.

I think it would look good if you found a matching forged carbon wrap.

Got some TRD take offs for a good price and swapped out the Limites rims. I don't know why, but I HATE the standard limited rims. What a difference!! 20220819_100311.jpg

And I would choose those Limited rims over the Limited OR any day. Up here Limited TRD OR comes with US SR5 TRD OR rims. I don't know why but I hate them.

Cal trend "ICBINL" seat covers. Needed leatherette because my cattle dogs hair destroys any fabric or neoprene.
Pretty decent fit. I bet I could get them on better if it wasn't 100 degrees out.

Mounted my maxtrax mk2 boards under my OEM bed cover. Had about the size of a credit card of room left between them and the cover.

Yes, I guess. But just to be clear I wish Canadian Limited TRD OR were coming with the same rims and tires like US version (20"s with Falkens) We're getting SR5 18"s with Michelins instead.

It’s made by a guy on Tacomaworld. Only need one bracket :) I used the 2nd gen Tacoma bed rail bracket this time since my own bed cover in the front sits on the rail. For bed covers that sit on the rail you could use the 3rd gen bracket and remove the rail.

Man, mine are just in the bag floating around the bed. lol. I really like that mount setup though at the back of the bed. Overall out of the way but still accessible if I had to get them out. The issue right now is that Im going to end up pulling them out one time and then forgetting them, and that’s when I will need them.
