Hello from Georgia

Hello all -

New to the forums and wanted to say up front that I am thankful that I found this little slice of the web. It has been a great resource and research aid as I have been doing my searching.

I do not own a Tundra as of yet but am in process of researching and hoping to buy in the next couple of months. Have owned nothing but Toyota for the past 25 years (Honda for me before marriage - with the exception of a 1967 Mustang when I was in my late teens/early 20's).

Am from Georgia - NW of Atlanta.

Question, and please let me know what forum this might be better suited, have any of you used an auto consultant/broker when purchasing your vehicle (Tundra or otherwise)?

Have been in contact with one who believes he can get me the Tundra build I want w/o all the crazy extras I don't at MSRP.

Can't you just go on www.toyota.com. and build what you want and then click search dealerships? The consultant/broker is making money finding you a Tundra, you would be doing exactly what he would be doing.

I tried that but unfortunately is was only letting me search dealers in my local area. Already contacted all dealers withing a 60-70 mile radius of home and was told that they would be unable to get what I wanted. (they also kept sending me links to models that were anywhere from 7-15k higher than my price point)

 

Put in a zip code 100 miles away and so on.
If you have a Costco or BJ's you can try their buying service.

Welcome from Kennesaw! I see you're kind of close by. I have a local Toyota dealership you can check out if you want. I went through several around here before I found the right dealership who was actually customer oriented. Just let me know. Good luck on the search!
