Hybrids hate sitting.
Clear all the codes, then try again.
Turn on the a/c if it has it. On Prius, turning on a/c usually keeps the motor running which charges the hybrid batteries. Mostly. Likely the same on the Insight.
Many cheaper code readers don't have the codes for the hybrids loaded.
I use a cheap code reader to clear codes even though it can't read those hybrid codes. Or unplug the accessory (gas motor) battery.
Once it puts some juice into those hybrid cells it should start playing nice.

I haven’t enjoyed a whole lot, as far as vacation type stuff goes, it’s been work. But I do enjoy being able to set the boy up as much as possible. I will leave knowing I gave him the best I could. And It will be really hard to get on that plane home without him.

@alb1k That's cool you're able to familiarize with his situation. I'm sure it helps him settle more comfortably, and later on when he's givin you updates, you'll have that foundation to see it from, if that makes any sense. How much would it cost to ship the 4runner over there? Way more than it's worth I'm guessin, especially now right?

I just do 2045hrs normally. But this is a family forum. Maybe we need GMT, I'm normally -8, I'm currently -10. But CA has DST and Hawaii does not. So, go figure. It's currently 0900 GMT in HI, lol.

 

Blocks that size are fine with the right bolts and torque/re-torque. Might fuck up your shocks if you are not careful, though. Personally, I don't like blocks - but several trucks come off the line with them. Really pay attention to the bolts. My opinion is 1" is max for blocks. that's not science, just what I think. The type of leafs play as well.
