I botched the install of my hood bulge (the rest went well). Can I order just the hood bulge piece in Cement?

I’m starting to wonder if these guys are no longer in operation…I had a dialog going with their customer support that went radio silent mid conversation and the OP went dark in this thread at the same time :/

Same. I'm quite sure that I signed up for their order email list a few times over in the last year or 18 months, and so thinking maybe I just missed their email, or maybe it was flagged as SPAM, I dropped them a line to inquire further -- no response.

I ordered a couple weeks ago and my order shipped a few days ago. They've typically been pretty responsive.

Been waiting patiently for a long time for the cement to come back in stock. I check their website almost everyday.

I have also been waiting on Cement and signed up for the initial wait list. This has been disappointing.

Give them a call. The page on their site that I had bookmarked (and have been checking for around a year) was not working anymore, as-in the page was moved however the old, now non-functional page was still there. #facepalm When I called, sure enough, they had MGM in stock. Ordered today!

First time poster here. I went ahead and bought the bumpershellz in superwhite for the rear end caps (with sensor holes) and worked on that this weekend. Overall the product seems great BUT to me the install was a little more complex and frustrating due to some of the vehicle-related issues on my end. I wanted to post some of this information in case it can help others down the road.

    Removing rear parking sensors:
For those who may be challenged with the rear sensor removal the best way to do this is remove the white clip holding it in place and then pull out the sensor from the back of the bumper as far as it will go and you will see a clip on the side - use a small screwdriver or pick and it should remove with ease. Reattach the sensor the same way then put the clip back in place. The install directions didn't really cover the clip part.

Molding Retainer Issue with my bumper:
So I totally forgot that one of my top/end pieces on my rear bumper had a messed up molding retainer clip. So when I installed the shell on that side the chrome was visible. After an hour of trying to fight it, I just decided to head down to advanced auto and get a couple mold retainer clips and that did the job. IMO - this is important as any of the top area of the bumpers that are raised (due to bad bumper clips, etc) will make it so they are not doing their job of holding the shellz in place and thus you will see chrome.

    Seized Bumper bolts underneath:
I guess it is from me duck hunting at a sand quarry after a couple of years but I had two of the bolts seize and I was able to get one out with some lubricant but the other sheared off (also holds the shell in place). Being the crazy / particular guy that I am I knew not having anything secured in the back with the shell would drive me crazy so I just drilled a small hole for a bolt underneath with the thread side facing up and not noticeable and attached the shell to the bumper that way.

One question for the community and @EC1, has anyone taken their truck to a carwash (i.e. CarPool)? Do these shellz hold up pretty well? To extreme hot/cold days?

Guess I’m one of the unlucky ones. Installed mine over the winter and the touch-less car ripped one of them off. Not sure how it happened, but when I pulled out of the wash and walked round the truck the rear drivers side shell was pulled off the bumper and cracked on the corner. Probably should have just had them wrapped.

I saw the colors available but can we request a color not listed such as cavalry blue? I read through it and don’t think I saw the details on that.

Installed my rears today and the shellz look great. Fingers crossed for durability, hearing mixed reviews in that department.

I ordered TPO front and rear covers early when they first came out. I installed on Jun 30, 2019 following the directions for cleaning chrome before sticking the tape down. It's been fine until last month, when the front passenger side was hanging straight out from the truck when I got home from work as the tape had let go and the wind apparently caught it.

@EC1 Where does one acquire a small roll of this 3M PX series tape, or is the stuff at AutoZone good enough?

I'll be a straight shooter here. I just recently took control of this account earlier this month from Grant Evans and I've been trying to get back to everyone he neglected to get back to over the past 2 years. I'll be answering him right now.

Yeah, they got back to me, but no resolution yet. They said they were moving and would not forget about me. Moving day was Aug 5th, but haven't heard anything since then.

I've taken control of the email thread between him and our customer service department. We'll be sending him some new tape in the mail, free of charge.

Please check your private messages and/or emails at your earliest convenience. I'm sorry we've taken so long to resolve this issue.

Thanks! I'd been considering doing a "new members" post since the human behind the account is new, though, the account definitely is not.
