I'm close with these sales folk but they're still sales folk. They'll tell you all the 22 QC issues are fixed.

ya, one of my local dealers said the same thing, there are no QC problems at all, blah blah. ya right.

the one I test drove had several.

Im rethinking my selection at teh moment, maybe a platinum F-150 powerboost with the 7.2 gen black appearance package.

I guess I take my chances on mechanical problems rather than wind noise, rattles, and mechanical problems. The powerboost I tested was quiet, the tundra was not, it had some kinda wind noise from the windshield area, like the glass wasnt sealed or soemthing

its hard to know what to do with these new rigs, you could always just get a tundra and have basically very few if any issues, now all the sudden not so much.

Im really hoping the 23 has this shit ironed out, or maybe I reconsider the ford which I just built on their site and it looks good.

anyways, for now, I ride my 16 with 300 lbs of sand in the back so it rides better, HA!

Not going to lie. I might just flip the raptor and get a platinum powerboost black appearance in avalanche gray. Granger is running 3% under invoice and priced one out for 69k

Yeah I just signed for it actually yesterday. Delivery some time in the next 2 weeks. I can only use level 1 charging so it may not work out.

No wind noise, gas gauge issues, poorly fitted window seals or rattles on my truck so far. It's a June build date. :D

    thats great to hear.

how do the rear seals look at the gap, does it look like they have the new supplier on-line now?

I've seen some rear door seal fixes and on all of the one's i've seen, I would have just left it. Small gap on the bottom is more tolerable than the poorly installed full trim going up and over.

so, so far the fix is just installing the same shitty seals and they stretch them out a bit?

I think it's different seals but you're talking dealer tech installers vs factory line. Let me see if I can find a pic

maybe someone with a recent tundra build can show them from the factory and see if they are different, I wasnt aware they upgraded them yet.

Here is one. But I’ve seen 3 or 4 and they’ve all been shoddy work. My 2018 traverse had seals that would squeak when going over bumps and curbs slowly, and the new deal install was shit

    geez, that looks like shit.

maybe someone with a recent build July or something can show the factory ones now and we can see if there is a difference

Wow that's horrible. Seems they've skimped on quality a bit in order to add more tech features compared to older models.

the hits just keep coming with this. Historically its usually a problem with them all or none, but this so far seems to be just random shit all over the place. When was that one built?

    ugh.

Here are what mine look like. Slight gap, but I think that'd normal. My 2021 F150 at work had the same gap.

Totally. I had maybe a 2 min conversation. She sent me the text with the details on truck and as I asked if it was refundable or not she said we just lost it.

anyway, you give up on the solar Pro?

yeah I told my guy to put me on the list for the next lunar. I'll take the white at msrp but now that lunar isn't on 2023 I'll pay markup for a lunar rock.

Talking to someone in Central FL about lunar with red.

Why settle for that if you have a lightning and raptor ordered?
I’m about to cancel cyber truck order since it looks like it’s taking a $20k price increase

Everything is stuck on the rail. Lightning is due some time last week of August. The raptor scheduling doesn't open until late September. The white pro was due tomorrow but it's still showing on the train since 8/2. The solar pro which I gave up was built 2 days ago.

Tech narrowed down my driver’s side wind noise to the driver’s side mirror. I have a SR5 TRD sport without turn signals. Supposed to be put on tomorrow, I hope it works!
