    Is that not the case?

    Yes, I was missing a Nut as well. Thanks. I should be able to complete the install once there in.

    @ToyoTundra89 how did you get that chrome panel off? I've got the same step I need to install.

    No need to remove rear panel.
    I installed mine with out removing the panel.

    I agree with Chiefbob, rear panel removal not necessary... It may make it slightly easier but also more time consuming and long with more steps (and things to break)...

    1st time truck owner here. Glad I made the purchase.

    Anyone have instructs for installing the automatic/electric bed step?
