Got new wheels and tires yesterday. Digging the new look not liking the 10mpg I’m getting in the city. Good thing I have a daily and only really drive it on the weekends

 

Washed and waxed with meguairs ultimate

 

I just threw a bottle of that in the trash this morning.

Added the Fox TRD PRO suspension. And threw in the Icon 1.5 AAL. Also added the 8” tall version of billiebar’s bed bars.


Added some grill bling and blacked out the steering wheel.

 

about $1200 in vinyl and some tools. i already has some of the tools and some tools i bought were purchased as an excuse to purchase those tool lol so expenses may be different for you based on what you have or dont have. Biggest expense was time and effort. I took a whole week (7days) off work to do this and worked about 8-12 hors a day, drinking beer and watching tv in the garage. I am sure if i had been "working" to get it done, could have been done in maybe 4 days. . the only help i had was to remove and reinstall the camper shell, other than that I did everything myself. By the 3rd day i was questioning my reason to do it but I was too far in to back out. I am glad i finished it. i like it a lot.

Next project will be a full PPF install in the Vette. i think i may take 2 weeks off work for that one lol eventually lol im still recovering from the tundra wrap lol

 

Custom fitted graphic door sill protectors for 3rd gen Tundra's I made today. A buddy of mine saw mine on my truck and loved it. He likes to leave his 12 pack boxes behind so I gave it back to him in return. LMMFAO!

 

Turned a slow security detail into a photo shoot

 

Trying a tried and true mod…matte clear on the shifter trim and gate to knock down some glare. Depending on the outcome, may just spray the cup holder trim too.

 

Did you install the suspension yourself? Did you add the sensor bracket?

 

Finally had temperatures in mid 90s and could install the black center trim piece. Interior blackout almost complete.

 

Installed my RCI cat guards today.
Unfortunately dropped the wrench in there and wasn’t about to drop the plate again to fetch it. Couldn’t find my magnetic stick so deal with it tomorrow.

 

Looks like a completely different truck.

I have always been on the fence with these, they look so good but so many have said they had issues with them. How has everything worked for you on the head unit? It really does make the truck interior look so much better

 

Love it! I did mine back in Feb and it still looks perfect. Did you use the same rustoleum product that others have posted?

 

Swapped out 700lb Eibach Springs with 800lb Eibach springs. Installed an Odyssey group31 battery in a Rago Fab battery tray....then I realized. My Slee offroad battery terminals haven't arrived. So I had to reinsert the old battery.

 

Dealer? What did you pay to have it installed? Did you swap tpms sensors for the PRO wheels or put new ones in? I have PRO wheels and suspension waiting to go on.

 

Love the interior but seeing those car wash mats getting dragged across your truck is making my stomach hurt and blood pressure skyrocket.

When I was installing my cat shield I found a snap-on wrench that was left on a bolt from the factory. I had the truck over a year before I found it. Really surprised it was still hanging on.

 

Installed the Start-X remote starter. No splicing. Took an hour to install, most time disassemble/reassemble dash and zip tying wires and module. 3x lock press to start, press unlock to get in, insert key to ON position, tap the brake and off to the races. TPMS sensor light flashes when you get in because it is electronically linked to the anti-theft system, but goes off when you tap the brake (if you tap the brake before you insert the key, anti-theft system kicks in and shuts off the engine). If you want to shut off the truck with the remote before you get in it for some reason, simply press the lock button again 3x, and the engine shuts down. I like the fact that the truck doesn’t shut off when you hit unlock and get in the truck, unlike the factory remote start on my wife’s Sequoia. Without question one of my favorite mods, definitely the best $215 I’ve spent, and I spent $215 on some primo Canadian weed when I was in college.

Yes, and it worked out perfectly. After the second coat, it muted the chrome almost to a brushed or muted finish. Will most likely do the cupholder trim as well.
