Not worth it at all, I bought the oem one from sparks. Hardly worth the money.

Yep. Unfortunately it’s a novelty because it doesn’t charge for shit. I’ve done home made and OEM.

I mainly only use wireless on my nightstand while I sleep, it has hours to charge. Other than that, cord all the way

I liked the OEM wireless charger when I had an iPhone 11 but it’s useless for my iPhone 13 - stops charging. I think it’s due to the metal in the phone so it can magnet to the mag safe charger.

Worked fine with my 8 plus. Not so great with my 13 Pro.

I can echo this. It was fine on my last iPhone and the plastic android m, but not great on my newer iPhones

I like the idea of it but I hate the product. Planing on custom making one with a MagSafe charger

Is it really that bad? Does it charge 1% per minute at least?

Lol. 1% every 10 minutes or so. It was more maintenance than charge.

wow that is really slow. I was thinking of installing it so I didn’t have to mess with dangling wires. Thanks for the letting me know. Guess that’s one mod I won’t do. I wonder why there hasn’t been a company that makes a fast wireless charging station.

Phone gets crazy hot on it. On the MagSafe charger it doesn’t.

That is my issue with the OEM console charger.
It makes my iPhone X so hot, that it doesn't function properly.

Thinking about modding the console with a different charger..

lmk how that goes , I’m assuming if you some how make it into a fast charging mag safe, you wouldn’t be able to tap into the the preexisting 12v plug from there?

Best bet is to buy a high speed three coil charger and disassemble it, mate it underneath the stock holder and enjoy.

my phone will charge 50% or more on my drive home from work which is only 16-18 minutes
