I am getting an occasional popping sound when coming to a stop. It sounds like a when you squeeze a plastic pop bottle and kind of like a diaphragm sound. when I stop is till pop once and then pop again like it is returning, but it is real quick and short. I can sorta re-create it when pushing on the brake pedal while stopped in park. When I get down near the floorboard to listen it sounds like it is coming from the little rubber cylinder thing to the left of the brake pedal. If I come to a hard stop it will not do it.

I am really OCD and have misophonia when it comes to my truck so it is possible I haven't noticed it before. I am wondering if anyone else has this or if it is a symptom of something going out.

Can you feel anything when it makes the noise? Both my FJ and GX would get driveline clunk when the slip yoke needed grease. Problem is I believe the deleted the zerk for the Tundras in 2018.

Mine turned out to be the Valhalla's Shield cat plates.

I have those so I guess I will get under there and make sure they are tight. Were yours loose or just them flexing?

Id check the control arms joints, something like the camber bolts of the lower control arms, etc. see if they are tight to spec.

In my case, the AMP step brackets were hitting the 1/4” aluminum Valhalla Z brackets. Wound up having Tyler swap them out with thinner steel brackets, which give more clearance.
