Picked up my Limited TRD OR from a dealer 300 miles away from me. The drive home was all smiles!

SR5, TSS Offroad dealer package. Crewmax 5.5 bed. Waited around 3 weeks for it.
Sold my 2015 taco, this is my first full sized truck.
We recently purchased a larger camper and the Tacoma wasn't pulling it as well as I hoped. This will handle it no problem as long as I can get used to the feeling of driving a tank around!

Is that here in SATX? I only ask because NP Toyota is prob one of the worst dealers for markups and bs in the area. Only to be beat by Alamo and Universal.

I buy cars from myself and my friends at REDMCCOMB TOYOTA DE SAN ANTONIO, I'm from Austin. then we realized that they put unexplained charges and overpriced on all the cars, now we buy at TOYOTA CEDAR PARK the prices are MRSP. the best market price I have seen so far.

Hey truckit, I'm also from the Atlanta area. Likely waiting until the '23s come out to order. What dealer are you going thru and what's been your experience so far?

That, and I'm not a fan of the black & white interior. Just not my thing, but for those who love it, I'm glad they found something that speaks to them.

Had to run out to the farm this morning and while I was there had to take pics and test out crawl control. First pic is 25degree incline according to the trucks gauge thing, hard to capture the angle in a picture but it was wet grass and truck went right up without a single slip(I was shocked). All the other pics just to show ol’ gal still has a little flex in her life after 37’s. 9CC9F105-7698-4552-9463-19652EB14065.jpg 9498255F-4C8C-4864-9AB5-04852C73AFD1.jpg 0E575D51-037D-47BD-B5C0-430258C19E38.jpg 959FC6E8-AF14-4E94-B814-A4BED652C4BA.jpg AE2EF632-9D6A-4546-9446-53A2934950BE.jpg 51DF9789-F303-47DB-874E-8677BAD459FA.jpg

Looks great! Man, these trucks don't really have much articulation do they?

I would say they don’t when you stuff 37’s on them with an essentially stock suspension. Otherwise, I think they’re right on par with or possibly better than any other full size truck as far as articulation goes with standard tires and suspension.

Hey Vichmr - Marietta Toyota...I would characterize my experience as ok. Communication could be better on status on delivery but I'm getting my truck at MSRP and they gave me a good price for my 2016 Limited trade-in. Also, spoke with my dealer today and they told me they would honor my terms if my order rolls to a 2034. Even if you want a 2023 I would start the process NOW not unless you don't mind waiting.

Thanks for the feedback. Early on after the new Tundra was released and dealers were taking orders, I was hearing that Marietta Toyota was charging a significant dealer markup. Glad to know they're doing MSRP although I never thought I'd ever think that MSRP would have been a good deal.

I hope you are pleasantly surprised and get yours soon.

I saw no noticeable improvement using premium fuel over regular fuel while pulling my toy hauler trailer. Maybe 1 mile per gallon? Hard to say as the two trips were a month apart. Got about 10MPG this trip running at 65-70MPH when I could. With premium at 40 to 50 cents more per gallon, the cost/mile isn't there. (Your results may vary...)

Traded in my '22 Tacoma TRDO DCLB for a new Tundra Limited TRDO CMLB. Did about 800 miles to Idaho and back on mixed backroads, single lane, and I-90. Couldn't be happier, the jump is massive between the two trucks.

Also towed around 8000lbs for the latter half of this trip, will post that info in relevant thread.

Picked up my 2022 Tundra i-Force MAX TRD 4x4 this week. Power is crazy. Electric totally compensates for the turbo lag. Toyota has done a great job on this truck. Only complaint is on California freeways, specifically the ones made of concrete sections, it is very rough/bouncy. Last Tundra had TRD Sway bar and Tonneau cover and I didn't have the issue. I'm sure the rear end of the 2022 is much lighter which is contributing.
