@Sunnier jumps her truck and has had no problems with TC spindle gussets. She clarified she doesn't jump as high as it seems, she "hucks" it. But, if you see the landing picture, call it what you want, it will break most suspension. Then "huck" usage became a topic.

    Looks like a great day.
You off-roaders make a point to clean out the airbox/filter after a day of eating dust?

I check mine regularly because I eat a lot of dust, but not after every trip. Usually replace one at least once a year. KTM gets it's air filter washed and oiled after pretty much every ride no matter what.

While I hate them doing it, it is a corporation's job to maximize profits in general.
I'll also suggest city gas stations have higher property taxes & operating expenses generally than a place out beyond the suburbs.
All that said, The fact gas prices go up before it actually costs more & takes a good year to come back down once prices are low again - There really needs to be some government intervention. To say you can buy someplace else is false until you can brew your own gas in the city limits - legally.

It's kind of amusing to me, I'm a few hours from a refinery but the fuel prices are always crazy high right down the road from the refinery. Like right now they're average is about 30 cents higher than my area.

It's like cell phone service, under the tower there's no signal. A mile up the road it's great.

As long as I've lived here, gas prices have always been lower in the city and more expensive in rural areas where it costs more to get the fuel delivered. I have NEVER seen $.80 per gallon swings in price like this. Even during weird spikes because of hurricanes.

Saturday it was $3.25 in middle TN and $4.05 where I live. Like Fester, we have a massive fuel depot in town too. It doesn't add up.

I do prefer this!, but actually it doesn’t take happen all the time. like it should.

I’m a big proponent of “leading from the back” to encourage others to try out the lead position. I do tend to let the group get well ahead though, then I can speed to catch up, knowing the group will call out any oncoming traffic.

I do replace the air filter every oil change, and I do those at 5k miles.
Wait, what? Dis I ever say no to an invite for a planned trip? I mean, yes, I’m not a fan of the desert, but I don’t turn down off-road trips anywhere unless I have a home/work conflict I can’t make go away.

Maybe I took it the wrong way, but when I tried to get you to go out in the past you told me you need trees and you're not a fan of the desert.

It’s true I prefer trees, rocks, and water over desert, especially for camping. But. Hulk was built for speeding through desert whoops, and I’ve got to keep him healthy!

I may not be an off-roader, but this is the general way I approach risky endeavors. It allows you re-evaluate an approach in the event someone tries something death defying and doesn't quite make it.

Sort of like quarry diving into murky water. You need others to determine where the hidden logs 3-5 ft below the surface do NOT lie.

Well, maybe I wasn’t super clear. If the trail or conditions are risky, I’ll lead rather than have an inexperienced driver lead. I meant, mostly because of personality, many of my off-road buddies shy away from organizing or leading a day-trip, mainly due to lack of confidence (social stress is pretty common, and creates hurdles).

But it’s usually a good thing for an individual who is a capable driver off-road, but thinks trail leading requires greater off-road skill than they have, to take a *successful* turn at the front. (*I or others can help plan routes; contribute friendliness at the meet-and-greet at the starting location and breaks; and build event participation by talking up the event online).

After leading a run, that social anxiety stuff melts away, so each first-time trail leader may be more able/willing to lead again in future, or at least be a more patient helper when another newbie leads next time. Plus, different personalities appeal to/ irritate different people. I’m absolutely wonderful , but perhaps not everyone that wants to run trails with the Shenanigans group is devoted to what I bring. as they should be. Switching off leaders bolsters interaction with more different personalities and, I think, creates a better opportunity for a newcomer to find someone they mesh with, which increases the repeat participation.

Anyway, that’s what I meant.

99% positive it's a body double. Notice they never clearly show his face in any of the action scenes where he's ripping it or doing anything dangerous. Only on closeups when a standstill or slow, steady speed. Don't forget, at the end of the day, he's an actor. Very few actors do their own stunts. There are a couple of American actors out there who do, and several from Europe and Asia, Jackie Chan probably being the biggest of the latter, but ... Norris? Nah. Imagine if he got hurt, he'd never live it down.

Oh, it's 100% intentional. They're testing limits right now to see how far they can bend things. Good info to have for next time, when they further push it. We're all getting scammed and have been for months.

Here it's the opposite. 10-25% higher inside the city than outside.

It'll never happen. A huge swath of our citizens have been brainwashed by producers and vendors to abhor gov't intervention in any form, even when it's in their best interest, as the consumer. All a talking head or group of talking heads needs to tell their followers is, "Oh, you wanna be like California? Because if you add this regulation you'll be like California..." and it's dead in the water, they'll think no further. Won't bother to look up and realize who is paying the talking heads to say it, or research where the talking heads' investments and dividends lie.

Don't forget, fossil fuels get billions in kickbacks, incentives, etc. every year, straight from our taxes. We get screwed by the producers/suppliers out of taxes, then screwed again by the vendors/stations at the pump. Double-whammy. My butt hurts already, someone make it stop
