What optic(s) are you running on your AR? I've never seen a setup quite like that.

Almost. It’s an older PSA red dot (pretty much a vortex strike fire knockoff) and a sightmark magnifier.

Got the optic setup for like $120 or something so just threw it on there to try the magnification out.

Turns out i don't take pics of my stuff very often. So i rarely have any pics to post. I've got many firearms, but these are the only pics I've currently got at hand...

Gen 3 Glock 20, 10mm (the best mm) 6in barrel, compensator, DIY stippling and beaver tail, milled extended slide, vortex venom red dot, cerakoted by a local shop, about a half dozen other mods... this is my baby. My first hand gun. Tens of thousands of rounds and still runs like a champ.

    20220731_144419.jpg

This is one of my newest guns. Had it for about 2 years but haven't had an opportunity to really use it. I've got maybe 40 rounds through it so far. Palmetto AR-10. I am currently drawing a blank on what the optic is. Pretty sure it's a vortex, variable power up to 24x i think. I know it is first focal plane..

    20220731_144526.jpg

Like i said, I've got many others. Just no pictures of them.

Joined the Sig club today. Bought the P365 XL Tac Pac which includes 4 mags, a holster, range ammo, hollow points, and a bag of swag. Sports World was running a promo and Sig had a rebate deal. Sig rep was at the store and was a great resource as well. Looking forward to taking it to the range.

Sports world is the best in Tulsa! What are they selling the tac packs for now? Months ago it was $550! It’s a great piece, you’ll love it. It’s so concealable. The trigger is the worst part, but not that bad.

It was $685, lol. Just the gun with two mags is $600 at Academy and Bass Pro and they don't have any in stock.

LOL! I've got one as well and have gotten hooked on popping flies, etc. Be careful if you target a wasp. It just makes them mad if you aren't point-blank on them.

Some of these flys are fucks, and it takes a few shots for them to stop, but still effective

Finally got to bring this guy home today. My first Dead Air can and my first eform submission. From certifying in mid February, it was 173 days to approval. I bought this because I wanted a sub can for my sub2k and I'm pretty excited to try it out.

You will like it. These are very quiet.
Also, order some rubber washers to act as wipes. The washer + 147 gr ammo = Fun.

I will definitely get those ordered. In your experience, how many rounds before the wipe isn't effective? Youtube says 20-30, does that sounds about right? Never had a can that accepts wipes so I'm anxious to hear the difference.

The washers begin degrading with about a dozen shots. However, I could not really notice anything until about a mag (35) later. So, YT is accurate enough. But, don't let that color your thinking. The can is VERY quiet. After burning through the first 3 or 4 washers, I skipped worrying about replacements. I only replace them after shooting so the first mag at the next shooting session starts of as quiet as possible. And, that is assuming you are shooting subsonic ammo.

Can I safely assume this is your first can?

I have an older .22 suppressor that uses packing (circa early 1980s). When freshly packed it is very quiet. After about 20 rounds the packing burns out then it is just nicely quiet. Repacking is a chore.

If you remove the outer stack making the Wolfman shorter (K configuration) it is noticeably louder. Not painful, but louder. If you insert the washer/wipe at that point, you see a real difference. Short can with wipe vs short can without wipe. In the long configuration it is hard to tell much difference without instruments.

Not my first can, just my first "dedicated" can. It is my first can that I've bought from a bigger company. My others are from Supressed Armament Systems, so it has been nice to be able to look at different forums and videos and be able to find some info about it.

I've been stocking some 147's and plan on breaking it in this weekend. Thanks for the tips.

Got some new glasses for my Christen Arms 6.5PRC That Ill be using for hunting this year. First variable magnified optic from Trijicon and I am impressed. Glass seems to be very clear and they also include Tenebraex lens caps, Lens pen, and also a scopecoat. Also got the Hawkins Ultra light rings to try out with this setup that should be arriving tomorrow.

Bought my first hunting rifle, after several AR/AK and pistol builds I figured I needed my own hunting rifle. Always used an old 30-06 of my uncles for hunting in PA since i'm in AZ.

Bergara B-14 Wilderness 18" Barrel in 6.5 Creedmoor. Will be getting a Nightforce Scope for it.

Excited because I have a Suppressor that will fit right on once I swap the compensator for one that will work with my Surefire SOCOM.

Going to try to find a reasonably priced KAC M5 RAS (wish me luck) and eventually an ACOG to do a M16A4 clone.
