Yeah.... I spent a little time in NM, so green chilies became a staple for us as well; pepperoni/green chiles pizza, eggs, etc...

Question - wtf does one do with an 8x10 patch of mint? Besides making 500 gallons of mint juleps
    upload_2022-8-7_20-37-48.jpg

And yes, there are plants in the middle of all the mint. My FIL thought that was a great spot to store them until his new house is ready.

The previous owners of this house, which we've been in for more than 8 years, planted a small patch of mint, about 1 foot in diameter. I didn't immediately chop it down in the summer when we moved in - I waited until the fall when I was getting some other landscaping done; but I chopped what had grown to about 6' in diameter all down to the ground. I'm still mowing over new sprigs of it every week. Also worth mentioning that mint has tiny flowers that drop tiny seeds.

A bad photo, which I suppose is appropriate, but I caught him cruising for country girls in Graham, Texas yesterday.

    1. Break it all down and re-plant in small plastic planters or planter liners.
    2. Haul them to farmers market.
    3. Sell for $5 each.
    4. Profit

Do they actually still make them? I had one in my GenII Trans Am. One of the few things I miss about that gas guzzling lead sled. That and the sound of a Rochester 4bbl

So I'll date myself a bit with this... but long after they were gone from newer vehicles you could still purchase them from JC Whitney as after market replacement. Spent my teenage years fixing up a 1950 chevy 5100 and driving a 73 super beetle and this was in 95. So I kinda lived in those old parts catalogs.
