Traded my mildly modded 07 FJ in on a 16 Tundra SR5. Just like anything else I've ever owned, the wife wants the list of defective parts that need replacing. I just tell her it's all in the improvement of durability and performance. She's a retired Govt. Purchasing manager, so she requests 3 quotes and justification... :monocle:

I'll be prepping the Tundra to haul a wheelchair accessible camper and using this forum to do some research- air bags vs sumo, mirrors, brakes, WDH, etc.

Welcome and greetings from Minnesota. If the truck isn’t already equipped with catalytic converter theft shields, that should be your next “must have”. Congrats.

I had an 07 that had 135000 miles on it and had been north of the Mason Dixon line the last 5 years. The dealer gave me 14k for it towards my Tundra. I could private sale it for a little more, but I was satisfied.

I live in a decent suburb of Buffalo and keep my truck in my gated driveway with cameras and a German Shepard. It's not left anywhere during the daytime that it would be an easy target. It is on my list of things to do though.
