The only difference between the medium and large is the outer diameter. The medium is 2 inches and the large is 2.5. The inside recess is 1.10 and bolt hole sizes are the same at 1/2 inch.

I know how you all feel. Had mine stolen three weeks ago right before I was to go on vacation. And yeah the rental would not tow the boat to the coast. After doing some research I went ahead and put on the Magnaflow Catalytic convertors and Denso O2 Sensors. This allowed me to have the vacation I wanted and after 3800 miles no codes have popped up and it runs better than before. We put the JM shield on to protect both the front and rear cats.

Will update if any error codes pop up.

YES, there was a huge bust in the Houston TX area last week. The news did show hundreds of catalytic converters recovered. None shown were etched or painted. Most looked as they did when stolen. The first question the police office asked me if I etched mine. I answered no. I had not heard of how popular our cats were.

Is that everything you need to install the cat protector? I’m seriously considering ordering a cat protector just not sure everything I need in terms of parts…

I would bet money at least the dad of the two scum bags is gone,, he was a felon. I know that does not make much of a difference these days but one would hope if they show up for court they will go to Huntsville for a good long while. This really has the local folks upset plus the LE community!!!

Maybe he joined his buddies in Jersey. I just saw a news story that these scumbags are shipping cats to Jersey and then overseas to recyclers. Apparently it has grown into a lot more then your local meth head selling to a local recycler which is not good.

I'd try doing that but the owner might not appreciate all the broken windows and little pock marks all over the side of his truck. Not the best shot with the BB gun, I ain't.

Get a Benjamin or a $45 crossman BB gun, they are plenty accurate. Leave the Daisey Red Rider for the farm.

Yep. Been there. 7k for new cats. Luckily I didn’t have to wait long at all. In the Sac area and the dealership had one set in stock and a shop in concord had the other one. Towed to the dealership on Sunday got it back on Tuesday.

The cat covers didn’t cover the rear ones much though. And if I get skid plates I don’t know what gets covered at that point.

Insulting someone who is already under your truck with cutting tools is a bold move.

They came for the cats but they might feel the urge to do a little more “work” under there if you know what I mean.

You shoot somebody with a pellet gun unlikely anyone will know where the shot was fired from, fraction of the sound and no muzzle flash. When the pellet imbeds and they have to dig it out it will be double the pleasure.

And....Having a moderator....suppressor....lead dust collector....whatever you want to call it is legal too. It's best to purchase a pellet gun with the suppressor built in to the barrel and not a separate and removable part. You cannot have one that could possibly be swapped to a powder burner. That gets you in big trouble.

Installed the Millercat system this morning with the additional rear extensions. Took less than an hour. If you buy this setup, get the rivet nut tool if you don’t have any. I did not need to lift the transfer case to install. I was able to get it to fit with the add on pieces on top of the plate so I could use the countersunk hardware. The instructions say to put the add one under the plate and use button head hardware.
