For now I'll massage the inner liner with a heat gun. Once the weather cools off I'll build a high clearance bumper out of steel.

For guys that run reservoir shocks do you have any clearance issues. My tires got into both sides over the weekend. I’m assuming normal driving conditions just going full lock.

I didn't. And for the 100 or so miles I've driven on the new tires, i really haven't noticed any difference in power or acceleration or even in the instant fuel economy display.

I'm not saying there was literally no difference. I'm just saying i haven't noticed a difference. I did choose tires that are light for the size and have low rolling resistance, so maybe that's helping. I also didn't notice much difference in weight when lifting my stock wheels/tires into the bed vs lifting my spare 37 into the bed.

I'll keep an eye on things and work out the math once i get more miles on them.

I the future, after i save up again, i plan on 5.29s and lockers. But that'll be a while.

Beautiful truck and really like the look of the rim/tire combo.

If you are wondering on weight for each specific tire you could throw them on a bathroom scale.

Do you have plans to patch the inner fender liner back together up front?

Thank you. I definitely like the truck a lot more now.

I was just thinking of weighing the tires like that. but that requires effort and at the moment I am not curious enough to put forth that effort. I just know the new wheel/tire combo feels pretty much the same to me as the stock wheel/tire.

I ordered some of those plastic clips from Amazon. I plan to put the liner back in, then do some massaging with a heat gun to get more clearance out of them. I'm also going to plate the body mount chop... eventually. It's friggin hot in AZ.

Looking good! I also didnt notice much difference from my previous setup to 37s. Did help that the new setup was lighter.

I don't even know y’all and your bad influences on me… wanna do karate in the garage… did we just become best friends?

Just Not yet though because we still need to get things installed… just getting excited over here.

Does anybody else feel like they got catfished.. like will these fit? No way. Lol

    - Bilstein 8112s (from wheel every weekend)
    - Bilstein UCA… (we’ll see how this works as haven't seen a lot of people run'n these)
    - 37x12.5x17 nitro ridge (FB steal for $300/set)
    - Rock warrior wheels, (17x8 +50) (FB steal for $350/set) + some auto paint primer
    - Spidertrax 1.25 spacers (puts me at like +18 offset w the RW wheels)
    - Relentless fab plates (not pictured)
    - Black McGard Spline Drivce Lug Nuts b/c RW wheels have diff seat that my limited wheels

-No rear stuff yet because I can’t decide if I want a new pack (Allan vs deaver) or just go toytec mini pack, and wheel every weekend didn’t have the rears bilsteins to match in stock yet..

    Below Update/Now ordered from Wheeler’s
    • Multi-Leaf Add-A-Leaf Set - 1.5" Lift 3 Leaf Progressive for 1995+ Tacoma, 1999-2006 Tundra, based on other and my reading this is the Deaver F85 pack that will fit 2.5 Gens, kit comes w longer U-bolts and center pins. (you’ve gotta search for these b/c they don’t show in the 2.5 gen Tundra filter)
    • Skipped leg day and instead of the Bilstein 8100’s ordered Bilstein 5160 Remote Reservoir Rear Shock Set for 2007+ Tundra (25-237429 x2)
    • Wheelers already sent tracking info which makes me very happy (on the other hand my 4WP UCAs had me second guessing my life choices and waiting for any info. They arrived in approx 2.5 wks which wasn’t bad at all… just had an angering gap period with no info until I hounded them)

Very nice! I’ve run way too many rear springs set-ups, the mini-pack worked great though. Have to ditch the overload though to really benefit, and need a 1” block to keep the height correct. Cheaper way to buy in the link below, all the same, Deaver F-85. 29C1620E-FE75-40D4-B1F4-D78194B8D665.jpg BAA9E866-32DA-4B46-8D57-3E5230F7DCDD.jpg

Yes sir, that’s what is on the truck in pics.. Look at the other places that sell it, fits same vehicles but doesn’t list ours. Maybe marketing agreement? Can’t remember if the u-bolts included are long enough because added the 1” block same time, but they are additional with the other anyways. Have the 1” billet blocks if you want them, just pay shipping.

Are you saying that you replaced the overload spring with this mini pack ? Then you added a one inch block? Would you mind measuring center of wheel to fender to get an idea of your current ride height? What shocks are you using, Bilstein 5100?

Once I find a wheel I like, I guess I'll be joining the 37s crew.

yea I believe they are designed to replace overload spring.. all the sites i see say this... search Deaver F85, in the description they say "3 leaf bottom overload replacement" the wheelers ones come with a set longer u bolts and are significantly less expensive (and 15% off at checkout). others like toytec seem to charge like 80 buck for a set of u bolts w this kit which i think they label a toytec product. all sites claim 1.5 inch

but I've only just ordered my set from wheelers with 5160s, so final install TBD.. i'm just collecting parts now... so don't consider me a learned Dr. right now.. just an informed spectator.

EDIT: I did have to pay 75 for shipping at wheelers so that 15% off was a wash, but you should still save even if others offer free shipping.

whats the red brand on the rear res? red up front JBA UCA?

deets on bumper? or lack thereof? based on this pic! lol looks good from this perspective.

I vote on RW waitng for a set of wheels, but I"m biased! i think there is a set of methods on the classifieds on this site,, can't recall if their 17s or 18s though

The Wheelers pack with the overload removed yielded .75” lift, total lift with the block was 1.75” over original ride height. Can use the overload, replacement center pins included were long enough. Probably would have used the overload if I towed anything.

No band. Just toytec rear with reservoirs. Yup JBAs. I've ran them on various off road vehicle since 2016 and love them so I always grab a set.

Bumper is SS Built front and rears. Chopped my rear bedside fins because they looked goofy sticking out and stuck some trim guard on it. Minimalist prerunners to look cool for essentially a minivan for my gaggle of 3 kids all under 3 years old lol.

What's RW? I'm digging the icon thrusts to keep with the minimalist look but still looking.

Here's the bumpers a bit closer up.

looks good good! Little kids love monster trucks! I do to!

My bad for the acronym.. RW is Rock warrior wheels, the 17 inch Trd forged wheels from second gens. Hard to find wheels but a lot of guys seek em out.

Ahh yes rock warrior wheels. Been holding off on the 37 upgrade for a year waiting to find a set that isn't astronomically priced or needing too much TLC to refinish. Unfortunately doesn't seem like I'll be able to find a set before these 35s go bald as they're on their last leg. So I'll end up getting something else. Love me some rock warrior 17s.

    Pics are fun.

mounted and balanced. Hopefully they put the weighs where I asked.

wheelers delivery time on the F85 mini pack and bilstein 5160s was solid, ordered aug 4 and received aug 9.

now just need to cut stuff and decide I want to call in a favor or install myself.

After putting some miles on my setup I’m getting rubbing on my front reservoirs and my upper control arms near full lock. With a +25 offset didn’t think I would have issues. Anyone else have something like this happening. I’m running icon billet uppers and fox 2.5.

I'm also getting some rubbing on my Fox 2.5 reservoirs with +25 offset. Ideally, I'd have someone make a custom mount to move it out of the way but it's not really doing any harm other than removing some of the material on them at full lock.
