Yeah, around the doors.. there's an easily-missed button on the roof console that changes the lighting level of the interior lighting.

This, for real. I was seriously upset because my ambient lighting was only turning on when the doors were open. Took me a few days before I realized there is a button up by the sunroof for it. IDK why they put it there, seems like it would be better placed down by the headlight/fog light switches.

Is it blue only? Or can you change it?

I can't speak for 1794, but the Platinum is blue only

1794 is blue only (unless you change the LEDs, I suppose)

My wife has an aversion to blue lights. Is there a way to turn off the ambient lighting? If not, I don't buy a Platinum orrrr my wife doesn't ride in the truck...

I thought you can just hit the button that says mood lighting by the sunroof and it'll turn off. I thought it was going to be very blue btw, which is why I got the lighter interior in the 1794. It's less blue in person than the photos.

With the button on the overhead console thing, near the sunroof controls and dome lights, you can turn the ambient lighting off completely. It will only come on at night when you open a door. That said, the light is very subtle. She may not even have a problem with it. Its not like a bunch of blue neon bars somebody threw in their honda civic.

There are 3 settings: bright, dim, and off. Just hit the mood button until it’s right for you.
