For the wheels for the air pressure.....they have a little bit of chrome in them stock (although I can change the lugs to black, but I'm not sure if thats too much of a black color going on)

I'm thinking maybe blackout. Even the Allens. Like those rims. I found new splined black lugs on Craig's tho not sure of brand.

I say eliminate the chrome from the tire valve cap and call it good.

Do you happen to know if the fake chrome bolts come off on the XD's so I can black them out?

That's a good looking wheel. I think it could go either way. I'm glad they did the bigger bolts on the spokes black.

I like the look of the moto metals over my XD's only because of the stupid worthless fake 5/8" chrome bead/bolts. Good way to practice with the plastic dip.I guess best way is to mask off around bead bolts and just spray it on?

Yep, and maybe some portions by the wheel well..if you over spray- no big deal. Just pick/peel it off.

Dipped one side. By the way, my back, knees are not thanking me right now. Plasti dip is pretty cool. Just not sure of the durability being on the wheel. I am going to make a template to speed up the process. Going to put some more coat's on the Frankenstein bolts

They look a lot better. First time using this stuff. If you F up you just pull it of and do it over. Ingenious. :homer:
