    Guys - Those with Android OS - have a question on the Toyota Connect App.

    - Does the car recognizes and sets the profile as you step in the Vehicle ? For me - I have to select the profile from the HU and key in the PIN every time. I am sure that Toyota engineers would not make this process so cumbersome. I am sure that there is a better way to do it and I have not set up the app right.

    Could anyone share their experience with it ? Basis of your inputs - I would try and reinstall everything.

    You will need to link your key to your profile, which is done in the settings of the infotainment screen IIRC. It is the key that dictates what profile is selected when you start the car. Seems like the bluetooth connectivity may have been the better solution, but that is what Toyota went with.
