Can't comment yet drove straight home from the shop. However I felt a slight shutter while accelerating from a stop. And realized I forgot to install the carrier bearing drop kit.

I'm happy with it, I do wish it was a tad bit louder. I plan on dumping over the axle and possibly getting a bigger tip. But all in all im very pleased with the quality and sound of it.

Question to you all

I wish I could afford a dirty deeds exhaust, but $1500, is a lil steep for me. Saw some YouTube videos of a 3in Carven mufflers, and making it true dual with dual tailpipes. Any reasons for concerns if I do this? Cutting out the factory muffler and putting 2 Carven 3in mufflers, and going dualexhaust.

You might need another hanger bracket for the exhaust. I had mine installed by a shop and wasn’t that happy with the way it sat and they decided to custom made the piece instead of using the kit. Welding is rusting on a 304 stainless setup that shouldn’t rust in a few months. I love the sound, but it does take away from the departure angle if you are worried about that.

9 inch lights fit the truck so much better!

 

I also have these in 275/70/18. I’ve had them for almost a year and love them. Haven’t had any issues in the rain or the little bit of snow we got over the winter.

Just changed the air and cabin filters this past weekend. Also washed the black beast. It rained within an hour of the wash. We had crazy weather, sun and pretty, but pop up storms all Monday. I ended up drying the truck 3 times, each time thinking this has to be the last rain for today. 3rd times the charm.
