Computer? Just carb that beast. Something in the 550-600 range should do nicely.

3uz running on VVTI 4.7 ecm should be doable with hard modding. But we’ll see

2ur or bust if it has to run the vvti. Can the vvti be turned off? Like solid pulleys and custom cams?

I had the twin turbo i6 in my (2010? 2011?) 535i and that thing was fun as hell to drive. I can't imagine what a 4x turbo would be like!

But I'll never own another piece of Bavarian shit like that again. Love the company, love the design, the feel, and driving experience. Hated the stupid problems and absurd maintenance stuff. If I got one it'd need to be pre-'90s

Amen, brother. Except I took a semester off about 18 months in so I could enroll in the School of Hard Knocks. The curriculum there really sucked, I should've stuck with college.

I used to joke about imaginary numbers when I first heard about them. I never imagined I’d actually be using them on my job. Much like Fourier, Laplace or Z-transforms.

Here's something you may find hard to believe. First cousin marriage is legal in the Northeast with the exception of NH, but not in TX.

Dealt with a P0420 back in Mar. Front A/F sensors graphed fine(good sine wave) but the driver rear had low number and graph was lazy sensor looking. Had replaced rears last year from Napa and even tho I felt they would be just as good as OEM, suspected they weren't. Purchased 2 OEM rears from McGeorge, code cleared and graphed way better and have been fine ever since. Beats the thought of buying CATs.

Nice! I have to export my logged data to a Windows XP PC and paste it into an excel spreadsheet to view it on a graph. I really wish Actron would update their current PC software to support ALL their legacy OBD2 readers.

Took me quite a bit of figuring out how to do graph in Techstream but finally got it.

This reminds me, I need to work on that. I got my hands on a stack of Asus eeePC (1025C model) netbooks and I'm about to toss in a 2GB stick of RAM and SSD, see if I can convert one to run Techstream exclusively. Figure it should have enough balls and it's a little less cumbersome than running it in an isolated VM.

Should work fine along with a good 2.04 firmware cable. I turned my older Dell Latitude into work shop PC that does well on my 04 and boss ladies 17 Highlander.

I just found out after over 15 years of ownership mine plots too. lol Just not one parameter against another.

I also don't have nice sinewaves. My left upstream sensor is more heavily DC than AC with it being mostly positive on the upper end. Might explain why my gas mileage is crappy. Could have also killed my left CAT since the downstream sensor mostly reads at or close to zero.
