Washed my baby and then put some skateboard grip tape on the sliders.

tnx Scott. This is what it will look like when u get all u need. Call vled and tell them u want to upgrade all interior lights, dome, map, vanity, and both front n rear footwell kits. I'd recommend getting 2 48 inch wires in place of 36. Made easier n cleaner for me. I went driver to rear, across other rear, up to passenger. Others go driver across to passenger, up to u. I found easiest my way and was able to hide all wires under center console rather than side kick panel. If u got any ques feel free. Good luck

 

I got mine ordered I order front and rear I didn't know I was supposed to ask for longer wires in the kit shouldn't they provide the right amount ?

 

They do but when I began wiring mine up the way I did it I found it was beneficial for me to have them send me 2 more 48 inch and I sent back 2 36". U may be fine with what u get, try it and if u find u need a 48 or 2 don't hesitate to ask. They sent me no charge and prepaid to send back the 2 36.

Yeah I went out with good intentions to get all done 1 shot. I got all interior done, driver footwell and took a 48 inch to behind driver. When I tried a 36 from driver rear to rear passenger, after hiding wires under rear of center console I found the 36 to be too tight of a fit when both seats were in full forward position. I could've made it work but figured better to hold off and get a 48 inch, that way if ever by chance the 1 time I need both seats all way forward I don't forget and rip out lights. I just found it easier my way using 3 48's around instead of 3 36's and 1 48". Just my 2 cents. To each their own.

 

I gotta say its a great upgrade for when it's pitch black outside and you gotta find stuff in the cab

True that. I've not only found that but also having a pro with no puddle or courtesy lights that they are so bright and high quality that they illuminate way outside the vehicle too, making it much easier for wifey n the kids to find the steps and see around the vehicle when getting in or out. Killed 2 birds with 1 stone here. Better interior and no need to waste any money on exterior. Besides of course front light bar and retro, lol

 

Lame wood trim delete. If you are hesitant to do this don't be. Trim was easily removed. Vinyl wrap was fairly basic.

I'm almost done with my retrofit headlights. I've been taking my time but I like the look of them a lot! The white around the turn signal shroud is a switchback LED. I also changed out the stock daytime running lights board with a switchback turn signal. I completely blacked outed the housings. I wish they made the switchback LED turn signal in a smoked color instead of just white. I've thought about doing a smoke paint over it. I've got RGB demon eyes and RGB halos behind the projector and shroud. I changed out the side reflector to a smoked lense.

 

Looks great buddy, can't wait to see some pics lit and functioning. I'm close to pulling trigger on mine and the rgb demon eyes and shroud will help me greatly since I was considering the same. I was also thinking of what I can do for switchback so I can eliminate drl and side reflector. Keep me posted I'm def interested to see them in action. Pics, pics, more pics, lol

Ok I got the front installed and doing the back today I went ahead and ran wire down under the footrest by the door and up under the carpet under passenger seat and stop because I'm wonder do I put the light on the rail that the seat moves on on the bottom of it and I wouldn't have to worry about it ripping or someone's foot hitting it , where did you mount your two back ones any pictures ?

 

Just some teaser photos of what the plan is... but I figured I will take all that is like Satin silver on the interior and color match to the cement... hoping to have this done before I head off on holidays, but with my work schedule, I'll have to work in sections...

 

You can put on rail if u want. I had my wires run through and secured inside of rail to avoid pinching. I then secured under seat. U will feel with hand or barely see when looking under a plastic long rectangular piece. I peeled 3m and stuck there on plastic. That way good surface to mount to and far enough under seat to avoid being kicked. Each chair has 1 and by attaching there the lights for me look identical. I don't have pics but if u feel and look under u will see the plastic rectangle I speak of. That's just the way I did, I'm sure the rail would be fine too if you felt better location. No real wrong way as long as wires won't break in pinch point when sliding seats.

 

I got my Grille back from powder coating and installed all 84 bolts. I'll install it tomorrow.
