Thats just a glorified test bench. And if used for a regular case then you must love cleaning.

    That is crazy.

I have not bought a case since 2006. I have an HTPC that has gotten new components every 3 or so years, last year was the usual time but instead, I just got a new CPU. The other is a full sized desktop that has been running a 2018 system flawlessly (mostly used as a print server) until the advent of air printing so now it's primary use is scanning docs into it.

what is the benefit of carbon fiber for a case? its not like you are transporting the thing, and it isn’t offering any legitimate hardware cooling benefits. I guess Im missing something.

No benefits, literally. Hence I called it a glorified test bench.

That's harsh, it has the "feature" of offering no protection so stuff can get into it & destroy the 10gazzillion $ hardware.

I look at things like this in the same manner I look at people waiting in line at Fry's or Microcenter the first day Nvidia comes out with its latest greatest GPU. Disposable income burning a hole in their pockets and an insatiable urge to buy the bestest newest thing out before anyone else gets it. Benchmarkers, benchmarkers, benchmarkers

I'd love to see the rich guy take one and put a customized water cooling setup in it.

I'm happy with my 432nd percentile systems that beat the crap out of anything you can get from most mainstream manufacturers for 1/10th the price.

Corsair bought in 2016. Best case I've ever used.

I always wanted a cube. Way back when CaseLabs was the pinnacle of case manufacturers, not a single company came close in build quality and materials, even today. But Im really happy with my Phanteks Enthoo Luxe and doubt I'll be replacing it soon.

I still remember when EVGA was working up the ranks. I built a PC for my brother using one of their mainboards from 2005 I think it was. It was the absolute worst board I'd ever used to date. Nothing but problems and POST/boot issues, and constant phone calls from my brother.

They've obviously come a long way. And now they're making cases that for $1600 look like they can transform...
    but don't.

Yeah, last case I bought was in 2004 here. Would I like a USB 3.0 on the front? Sure. But the Antec 900 is amazing and I could overclock everything and still keep the temp down
