A 12 pack of O’Douls, Pictionary and plenty of drawing paper and a wind breaker to wear while making s’mores at night.

 

A nice onion (whatever kind you like), very finely diced. Place in a glass container, add fresh citrus juice, I like lemon and lime; vinegar, a bit of salt, and sugar. Let it all blend in for about 24 hours in the fridge.

Makes a pretty decent hot dog relish for those times you go to a BBQ and all they’re making is overcooked burgers and cheap ass hotdogs. You know the kind of “mandatory fun” events that employers put on where you’re obligated to attend even though you know they’ll cheap out on every aspect of the event.

I don't understand all this eating malarkey. When we Brits get together all we need is alcohol. A beach, park or pub is fine but no-one wants a bunch of mates puking anywhere near their house.

I’ve been known to bring my own flat top, a fully smoked (18+ hr) pork butt, my own smoker to do ribs, a pack of Trulys, usually a J or two, my own squirt gun or floaty, Wagyu, Eegees; this isn’t all at one party, but you can pick and choose

 

Sorry bro, but a solid 99.9% of guys who think it’s cool to bring an acoustic guitar to a party aren’t going to be playing Master of Puppets on it.

They think they’re Bob Dylan or some shit, and have the mistaken belief that everyone else wants to pay attention to them sing lame ass folk songs while they strum the guitar repeating 2 chords over and over (for every song they know).

Remember that 2022 Toyota Tundra commercial with the awkward chick with the acoustic guitar that turned out to be a dude? Super annoying hipster douchebag.

That’s who shows up with an acoustic guitar most of the time. No one wants to eat with that guy much less hear him sing.
