Why are you taking it off? Wish this one wasn’t all the way across the country.

 

Loved the sound of the dual exhaust, especially around town, but wanted a quieter ride at cruising speed. Guess I'm getting to be an old man!

 

This is in great shape and will make a good deal for someone.

OP - why did you replace this with?

 

Did a quick calculation and decided the $9,903,456 in gas it would cost to get from New Jersey to California and back just wouldn't make sense for me.

 

Georgiey22: Swapped it out for the stock single exhaust.

Rocsteady: Trip cost might be higher yet when you factor in what we're paying for gas in CA!

 

You're probably right about the gas. It's bad everywhere but seems worse where you are. Not going to lie, I did think about it for more than a few minutes as I really want that exhaust and certainly not going to get a better price for one in that good shape.

It was a simple unbolt and install going from the dual to the single, should be same going the other way. It was stock from Toyota, so it could not cause smog issues.

 

I'm pretty sure they're interchangeable. Wheelbase is the same. Only a DC long bed and a regular cab is different.

 

I had a 2021 single exhaust and swapped in the trd dual exhaust in less than an hour. This was a double cab but I’m certain it’s the same for crewmax. Truck got totaled and had to cut my losses, sold the dual for 800. Easy swap though
