Me too, bud. I'm running on like 3 hours of sleep that wasn't restful.

I'm on my second Diet Dew and I've been here for 2.5 hours.

I'd skip the energy drink, but if the budget can take a tank of gas, I love going for a drive with nowhere to go. It brings me peace. My odd schedules in life and social anxiety are probably part of why I got into video games. The escapism and the social aspect with anonymity combine with the 24 hour usability to make for a hobby I enjoy quite a bit.

 

My wife used to stay up until all hours of the night until I had to work a stretch of nights and then all of a sudden "well, it's 9:00 and I'm tired so goodnight".

 

I needed some V8 therapy last night so, even though gas is expensive, after I dropped the trailer off at the storage lot, I left the truck in T/H mode and took the long way home. Holy hell, that's fun. My pocketbook would start to hurt if I did that regularly but it definitely helped a bit with what's been ailing me.

 

Shit! Guess I'll be doing that again soon!

I think I got my fill of manual mode in Banff, both with and without my trailer. The transmission didn't seem that happy with me after a few days of going down Tunnel Mountain at 20 mph in 2nd gear. (The traffic behind me wasn't happy that I was only going the speed limit either. )

 

Console. Playstation guy for sure. I'm not near as into it as I used to be, but it's a great way to kill the hours when I'm flipping sleep schedules, or just want to mentally check out.

Definitely feel adventures are better with company. My solo thing is the games, and even that is semi social, just with people IDK IRL. I feel for the struggle on the company front, though. I don't have anyone local to hang out with anymore, some turned into snakes, some I offended, and the ones I still really get along with have moved for work/life in general and aren't close by. I'd rather just stay home and scroll netflix looking for something not to watch, or run circles in Warframe than pack up and go fishing solo, and such. If I'm alone, I just want to be home. The Pug helps, though. I'll take her on drives sometimes, and she's always happy.

 

Throttle therapy is awesome, man. I actually need to do more of it, but I usually use the RZR for it. Next weekend I'm actually going to go visit my younger brother and try to get some time in the RZR. Might haul the kayak too.

 

You can, BUT you have to commit to keeping it or the truck stock. You can't mod both.

I love my family and a small group of friends, but I need downtime. I cannot really go for drives anymore so it can be hard to relax. That’s where my traveling really helps. I need a few hours a week in solitude to decompress.

 

Try a kidney stone. Way worse than a bug in the nose.

 

Plus, I can have one for the price of 2022 Tundra PRO or Capstone w/ADM!!!!

 

I'd recommend gummies!!! They are my go to for late night drives and other escapades!

I've got a thing for sour cherry cola coke bottle gummies right now; not sure why as I don't like cherry coke.

Probably because it doesn't taste anything like cherry coke. I've never had a soda flavor anything that tasted anything like it unless it was actually made with the soda like a slurpee or something.
