Agreed! I was lucky enough to win and Ray’s @gosolo craftsmanship was the motivating factor. Limited edition is great but outside of this group probably wouldn’t mean much. I’m going to cherish it for a long time and pass it to my son.

Those are nice. Was the small one a commemorative issue?

An interesting listen for knife nerds. Tim Reeve, the owner of Chris Reeve Knives talking about the demand for their knives and the difficulties of keeping production pace in a booming industry.

A small Boise company dealing with supply chain issues and competition for skilled staff. Who isn't dealing with that? The wait time for an order is now at 6 years for some models such as the large Sebenza! He has a very reasonable outlook though and is taking cautious steps for expansion. I don't see CRK compromising quality for profit. Old school and 100% USA made. A company I am proud to support.

If you are ever feeling a need for a side project to re-energize the creativity… a handle like that as a shifter would be amazing…

It’s very similar to this one
    https://rtknives.com/?product=paring-knife-2

The blade is 3” instead of 4”. This is the most ergonomic and comfortable handle that I have found for a paring knife.

lol! Right? The only design that I have given a sort of ‘ownership’ is the tactical skinner I have done for @Toyotamafia and that’s because he bought 7 of them.

It's an awesome knife. I'd recommend it to anyone. I hope you sell a bunch. You nailed the handle shape.
It's in use as we speak.

Some knives look good. Some knives feel just right in the hand. Some knives perform well. Not all knives achieve all 3.
