@Bobby Z looks like my truck got the recall fixed. Can you check if there is an updated arrival date to the dealership? Also good luck at the new job, I just started a new job a few months back too!! 5TFJA5DB7NX039080

@Bobby Z any and all info is appreciated.

Truck departed rail 7/6 and arrived via rail on 7/19. It has an estimated dealer delivery date of 7/24. Sitting on pins and needles lol. Dealer has been saying “any day now” for the past week and a half o_O

    Thanks! VIN:5TFJA5DB3NX042235

My hybrid 1794 showed up yesterday after about two weeks at the railyard. Drove it today. These are nice trucks.

Congrats on the new job @Bobby Z! We appreciate you keeping us somewhat sane during the waiting process. Would you mind looking mine up one last time to see if it has loaded a truck yet? 5TFLA5EC4NX007221 Thank you in advance!

Yeah I see you’ve been waiting quite some time as well. Apparently mine is in A status due to never leaving the factory. It showed F status for a while but is now showing A. Definitely frustrating. I hope yours arrives soon! I really need a truck for work and not having an idea of when it will actually arrive has been challenging. Looks like I’m going to have to rent one again or something

Thanks man. I also hope it arrives in the next 2-3 weeks. Sending good vibes hoping yours gets moving soon…

Can they tell if it’s in A does it not have a build date yet? Or is it waiting for some backordered part or anything? I think mine was also in F status the whole time it was just sitting at the factory. I think it just automatically goes to F once it’s officially been built even if it hasn’t officially shipped or made it on a train. I honestly don’t know though - that could be wrong…

Finally got an update from my dealer (truck arrived at VPC on 7/9) - supposedly distribution center is telling them that the truck is blocked in the parking lot and there is not ETA on when they will get to it :censored::angrygirl:

It was built 6/20/22 and then went to F status and stayed there for quite some time. Now it’s back to A status but was supposedly built when originally stated. The whole thing is confusing and definitely should be revamped IMO. The dealer is telling me it will for sure arrive by 8/3. Very annoying as i know that it hasn’t even left the factory yet.

    Guys
These trucks are amazing. Well worth the wait. Picked mine up yesterday. Ride is great. Avg. 18.1 on my first 200 miles as I had to run out to a customer meeting yesterday.

The larger head units navigation is UNBELIEVABLE.

My Tundra has been sitting at the rail yard since 7/5 which is an hour away from my dealership.
No QC hold and no update other than they don’t know why it’s sitting. Supposed to have been delivered to the dealership from 7/21-7/26. What’s today’s date?
    It’s ridiculous!

Yep - I know that feeling very well. It would have been super helpful to even just be able to know what the hold up was - if it was some part they were waiting on, or if there were logistical issues with transport etc. it’s hard when it’s just a big black box and no one has ANY information at all…

That sounds like the boat I’m in smh… the truck is sitting in Chicago (about 4 hours from me) with no holds. I’m trying to sell my current vehicle while the market is still hot and I’m losing money every day the truck sits. Just glad to have an allocation. I’ve only had it on hold since 6/25.:notsure:

What I will tell everyone in my opinion and my opinion only.

Toyota is struggling like many other company’s. The problem in my opinion is that there is a severe disconnect between Toyota Logistics and Toyota dealers. Information is spotty at best and at times not very reliable.

Thankfully my truck has arrived but, the dealership had no information other than it was at railhead and had been released from QC hold.

The salesman and the GM of the dealership were fantastic with their communication. But they were not even told that the truck was assigned to a carrier and leaving the railhead. The system did not update until yesterday afternoon to G status, after I had taken it off the lot.

    Keads,

I had to sell my 2017 Tundra 2 weeks ago with a daily 72 mile round trip to work commute my truck was already at 85,000 miles and my buyer was in need of my truck for his road trip pulling a 28' travel trailer. My buyer wanted to re-negotiate sale price at the 90,000 mile mark and as you know these 2022 Tundra's ain't cheap so I needed every penny I could get for my 2017. Like you said what kills me is every month the Fed raises interest rates. So I've had a deposit placed since June 10th and it's killing me to see the rate change since June.

I sold my 2011 last week. Like you, I had to get every penny I could for the down payment. at 136k miles, I ended up getting $21,500. Mine has cleared QC hold, and was waiting on a carrier to dealer as of Friday. I have a feeling that it will show up after my goes into labor at some point this week and will sit there until my wife and I can get there to sign the papers.

I’m going to sell my vehicle Wednesday and like you I have a 80-90 commute. Hoping it comes in otherwise I’ll be working from home. 2 working professionals in the house and 2 kids in daycare-this could get interesting with 1 car :pccoffee:

Thanks. I’m going on Vacay in 13 days. I was hoping to have this thing ceramic coated, leveled with wheels and tires, retrax on, and Cat cover on. Every day it gets delayed I get stressed about even having it in time.

    Same here.

    Tundra built 06/27
    Departed rail 06/27
Arrived at Gulf States Toyota processing 06/30

My truck has been in limbo ever since. No updates other than it's stuck for some reason at the VPC. Just curious- any of y'all getting your trucks from one of the Gulf States distributors?
