Track your Tundra when in "F" status on the train

Ok, so I got this from my dealer. I assume this is an auto-generated notification email that comes from the same blue progress system you’re using, @Bobby Z. So I’m assuming that ETA maps to the last step in the line “arrive at dealership”? To which my time in manufacturing and supply will tell me to not hold my breath. Haha

 

hah, what timing. Probably a log jam of vehicles and cargo waiting to get on haulers. Thanks.

 

Oh right on. So then back to the original topic of this thread, if you have the from to and the rail number (I assume that's the ETTX######in your example), you could track your truck while it's on rail correct? Alright, I'm curious -if you get a chance could you share that info with me for 5TFPC5DB2NX006573. No rush at all.

 

The dealer told me it’s Finally on the way but I wanted to double check. Would you mind looking it up?

Not sure where you are located but here in northeast Ohio my Tundra is like yours released and sitting. Lordstown is the rail yard and my dealer supposedly has over 50 Toyotas sitting and waiting on carriers. I called Toyota corporate and they said they don’t have anything to do with the rail to dealer delivery it’s up to your local dealer however my local dealer says they don’t have any pull with the local rail yard. It’s extremely frustrating especially when I sold my 2017 and I need my Tundra. Also interest rates are steadily increasing.

 

Spoke to salesman this evening…. They do not have any other update other than it is waiting for carrier assignment.

Hopefully it will ship in the next couple of days. Railhead to dealership is only 25 miles.


They did tell me Toyota is now projecting new August orders could take until February or March to fulfill.

 

That’s just crazy!

The dealer just called me again today. Now they are saying the truck moved back into "A" status and they are not sure why. Apparently its still scheduled to arrive by august 3rd but I definitely don't think that is going to happen. This has been a very frustrating process! I was counting on this truck for work but have no clue when it will actually show up.

 

No lift today, maybe leveling kit. Not sure yet. I live off a dirt road about two miles back into the woods and need more aggressive tires. That’s always my starting point and then roll from there.


Filling out all of the paper work on the web tonight and picking up at noon tomorrow. More pictures to come!

 

That's about my situation. My house is on 80 acres at the end of a private 3/4 mile dirt road shared by me and a neighbor. A small lift and 35's are on my to do list, but not until I need to replace the oem's.

 

Dude - that is a bummer. I can honestly say I know exactly how you feel. Mine has been quite the rollercoaster of ups and downs trying to get any insight in to the MONTHS of waiting. Best of luck and I hope yours gets moving soon.
