It is IMO. I have 17X8.5 at 0mm. I added 3/4" spacers for frame rub. From a poke standpoint, we are almost identical (1/4" +12mm). I'm on a bigger tire so, the body rub took a bit of work. You should be perfect.

    Just an FYI.

SPC are cheaper, for a very good reason. I've seen those plastic sleeves squish in the slotted holes and make knocking noises in the front LCA's of Toyota trucks & SUVs.

    Wait, uppers, lowers, or adjusters?

I just ordered their UCA because they looked beefier than what Camburg and others are putting out.

I'm not sure the specifics of SPC. but I will say they are not beefier than TC or Camburg. Nothing is.

I'm not even being kind. I really like it and I think you have really made an effort for a long run play on that one. Seems like a very smart set-up. I will tell you, my experience has been go with the best you know at the time, and then adjust, and adjust again. But I'm trying to push things now, never did before. I think you are super stoked and made great choices.

My truck will have an experimental tune on a spare ecm. If the tune works well then the fixes will be known for the VF Tuner whenever that happens.

Got the spindles back on and man what a difference new bearings make. Much smoother and quieter. My homie hooked it up and only charged me 100 total for both. It was a good day :)

Physically modifying the ECM by a friend. He doesn’t do it normally. But he’s willing to mess with it. Likely just going to mess with MAF. Maybe some vvti tweaks.

But dyno time is needed to go aggressive. And this process is uh… LONG.

Fixed my passenger headlight today by recycling the nylon insert from the OG headlights. It fits nice and snug whereas the new (OEM) one pops out. One less problem. Also swapped back to OEM corners and put in new NA bulbs.

Next up is fix the headlight problem.

Also, front coilovers off because they don’t lift the nose. So probably need 700’s instead of the 650’s they came with?

Hard to say. The integration relays affect a lot of the truck

So, my plan as of right this moment is to order a new part. Eric from Decatur thinks he knows the right one. He has 2 in stock. I think I can plug it in and test with it to see what it does. Then I could send one to you if it solves our problem.

But with a harness and an aftermarket switch, it’s possible to go completely off reservation. Just no high beams that way without having it all ground switched and capturing the high beam ground.

I was at my truck twice today but super tight on time and didn’t get to prove the h4. I suspect our ground switching might be ok and we just need the +12V part? But that’s a guess.

If someone made a 3 way rocker in oval shape, that would be a decent temp headlight switch.

Lemme know if it fixes it, i plugged it in without due diligence, this is on me. And if i can hotwire in some lights, i'm pretty sure i'll be better off.

Low beams might be a 37" lightbar.

I got your back. Defective product is a business expense. I just don’t want to fry your truck worse so I’d rather confirm the board does no damage before sending you one. I’ll order up tonight.

I can hook you up with a headlight harness down the road but I’m kinda in a rough spot the next couple of weeks as far as time.

Nice! I’ve been considering a tool box lately. Seems like a better and cheaper storage option vs typical overland cargo containers. Tools and extra parts would do well centered on the truck.

Dealer tried to sell me on a new Decked box he had in stock. Aesthetically, it wasn’t up my alley, but if I was outfitting a true work truck it would be the direction I would go.

I came close to getting decked for the ‘05. Since that’s the one truck the dog won’t ride in. But I wasn’t overly keen on it. Makes sense. Nice to have tools. But probably better not as a daily. And if it’s not a daily then why have them there at all?

Aw shucks. Already reinstalled em huh? I was gonna say that wouldve been THE perfect opportunity to weld on a set of spindle gussets. I welded mine on the truck, and it's done, but lookin at that pic of your spindles off the truck and bare..... that would be ideal, so much easier.

Its best to do them off the truck, but I think if you are careful with your heat and you weld in intervals so the heat doesnt build up in one area too much you can get away with doing them on the truck. But still, if i ever go that route id probably wanna do them off the truck if possible.

That was never the plan for me. I'd always planned to do a two-phase approach to support the end goal. I've learned multiple times about going all-in, it doesn't work for me and my life. Just results in never being finished with anything, but much more so than the usual not-finished you'd end up with.
