Haha ya… I have had all sorts of thoughts and speculations about what might have happened or what is going on… the mind wanders when there is just literally 0 information available

I have called around. Hard to find platinums and all have told me they think mine will get here before they get one… and I don’t NEED the truck. So I’m trying to just patient and wait it out. I have set a timeframe though when I plan on canceling if there hasn’t been any movement.

 

What’s sad is I got a promotional email from my dealer today telling me to come shop for a new car. Had a link to “find your new Tundra.” I wanted to yell at them that I’d put the deposit down over 7 months ago.

 

how long has yours been at the VPC? QC hold or just in limbo?

Looks like it made it through without having any recalls and I was told by my sales guy on the 13th of this month that dealer arrival is expected July 28-August 2. I don't know. It was railhead departure on 6/8 and then showed railhead arrival on 7/11. The recall page updated and showed it cleared on 7/16, if I remember correctly.

How long does it typically take to go from the rail yard to dealership? Mine was released from QC on Tuesday(thanks for the info Bobby) and dealer still does not know when it will arrive.

 

Its going to be situationally dependent on region and timing. If there aren't enough vehicles to fill a carrier they'll wait. Mine was released from the QC hold on Thursday and it arrived Tuesday afternoon. That was for a medium size dealer an hour away from the rail head / port.
