Will This Shift Knob Fit a 13'?

I'm looking for a nice OE shift knob to replace the original one in my 13' SR5 because for some reason on my existing knob, the metal edge where I put my hand now has a somewhat sharp edge. My wife drove this truck a few weeks back and it was after she drove it that I noticed the edge was now sharp, almost as if she snagged it with something. Haven't brought it up to her as it's not that big of a deal and I don't want her to feel bad if she did do something. Checked through eBay and saw this black one that looks nice but it's stated as only fitting later model years than mine. Is there a reason why this shift knob would not fit my 13'? Don't these just screw on the shift handle? The part number is PTR57-34141-02 and the eBay listing title is "OEM TOYOTA TRD Pro Shift Knob TUNDRA 4RUNNER 2015 - 2019 PTR57-34141-02". I'm hoping it's only marked as for the 15-19 model years because it came as an option or stock in those years but that it will fit any Tundra shifter. Thanks for your help!

    It will fit from 07-21.
Is the listing for an actual OEM part. Because many on here have purchased knock offs and the internal threads crack when tightening them.

OK, that's good to hear. It's listed by Daytona Toyota and advertised as OEM and they've got over 53K feedback with a 99.6% rating. I guess it's safe to assume it's a legit part but who knows these days. The price is $103.20 so it's not cheap.
    Thanks!

if it is a dealer I wouldn’t be too worried. I bought mine from a dealer on eBay too. But about $30 less.

Yeah. Got mine from a "dealer" for $70 or $80 i think... The "others" which looked exactly the same in the pictures were $35 or $40.

Seems consistent with the chinese selling off the "rejects" at the same price they sell the acceptable stock to Toyota... Everyone wants their margin.

They are legit. I bought the fog light kit through them on ebay when I had my 2013. It was an OEM kit sealed in the bag with the Toyota parts label on it.

Oh yeah... They really are nice. Much more natural place to rest your hand. And the materials are quite a bit of an upgrade as well

OP, did this shift knob fit your 13 tundra? I'm looking for a replacement and hesitate to buy if this doesn't fit.

I got the silver with black leather.

Red stitching looks nice with my steering wheel wrap.

Lol... I've added a steering wheel cover with red stitching on my SR5 last year and just ordered the same shift knob you show in the pic. Bought off of Amazon. A reviewer made the statement to the effect of "I wished toyota would be more forthcoming in what these fit". He stated that if fit fine in his '11 tundra, so I pulled the trigger and bought it. Should be here next week.

I conservatively estimate a 32hp gain when combined with the TRD radiator cap.

I prefer fuel line magnets, intake tornado and Slick 50. Right now, I’m around 900HP and getting 37 MPG. Next up is a fake hood scoop and pin striping.

Z-Maxx was probably invented by the same guy who came up with CarShield

Toyota knobs are pretty heavy. Light aftermarket ones make the action feel light, cheap and doingy like a doorstop coil in a Motel 6.

I suppose I am more than happy with the action and weight of the shifter... It's just that the shape (material feel is also upgraded with the leather and smoother paint finish) is SOOO much more pleasurable in hand whether you're a hand on top, hand around the side, or anywhere in-between shifter.

The original shift knob always felt a bit awkward no matter how I grabbed the thing, but the more organic shape of the TRD is ergonomic no matter how or where one grabs the thing.

Received the silver/black shift knob today. Before I installed it, I put a piece of heat shrink tubing on the shifter stalk to mask the chrome look then installed the shifter. Between the new shifter, new Kenwood DNR476S headunit and the AFE exhaust, the tundra is finally turning into "my" truck with the options I've wanted. Now all I need is a nice set of wheels and I think I'll be done.

I haven't bought it yet but I plan to do this soon. All my money is going into a construction project at my house so I'm low on funds for the Tundra at the moment. I've got a large list of upgrades I want to make but that list is going to have to wait for a bit until the house stuff is done.
