This was on train until 2 days back ( as you checked). It was put on train on 7/11 and as per dealership, they should receive it any day now.

Lol I was wondering about this too...seems suspect Dude is either playing games or having games played on him...whose dealer gives them the wrong vin 5 times in two days?

Well the first vin number was my fault. I read the paperwork wrong. Thats for my current tundra i bought in December. I am trading it in for a Platiumn. The second vin was given by my salesman. After your message stating it was sold last Monday i reached out to him and asked about it. He called me back and said he gave me the wrong vin. So the 3rd vin number should be the correct one. He has been telling that truck arrived in Houston on 7/11. He doesn't know what the hold up is. When i check the recall page it is not showing any pending recalls. So i don't know what the hold up is. Thats why i keep reaching out to this board for help.

 

I finally got the call!! My truck showed up to my dealer! its been a long time coming, about 6 months and some change since looking.

Problem is, I cant even go pick it up today (other appointments) haha I've waited all this time, what's one more day I guess.

My truck was supposed to be delivered 7/21-7/26 to the dealer.
QC Hold was released a couple of weeks ago.
It’s at the rail yard waiting for a carrier? My salesman doesn’t know why it’s sitting.
Sooo I’m waiting as the interest rates keep rising.

 

If you're still on QC hold you may be waiting on a replacement part of some kind. I would hope Toyota makes you a priority in that situation but a lot of parts are unobtainable short term.

 

I'm in the same boat. Unloaded from the train, but waiting on a carrier.

 

@Bobby Z my dealer called and said mine is being transported on a truck. It disappeared from dealer site...can you confirm if it is in GT status?

Anyone else under the Gulf States Toyota distributor experiencing long delivery delays? Looks like mine's been waiting from a ride at the rail yard to the dealer for a month now :/

Yeah looks like I’m in the same boat. I don’t know what’s going on but it’s getting pretty frustrating.

 

If it makes you feel better, mine was built 4/29 and still at the factory… I would be thrilled to have it waiting at the rail head I’m with you though - super frustrating to see no movement or progress.

 

Man I can’t believe yours is still there. That’s awful. Doesn’t make sense either. Like it got lost or something. Or someone stole it and they just don’t know about it.
