Hello, fellow Tundra owners. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the Stinger HIEGH10 stereo. Looking for any feedback, likes dislikes anything to share about the head unit. I am having one installed in my 2020 Tundra in a few weeks. Just wanted to see if there was anyone who has one and would like to share their take on the radio.

    Thanks

I don't have one yet, but the local audio boys have me sold on one. That's what a lot of them personally run so they must be decent.

I don’t think it’s idatalink compatible either. Could be wrong though.

They don't use the Maestro. They use the PAC Audio unit.

    Did you get this installed?
If so, how do you like it?

I put mine in over a month ago. Not really impressed at all. Wired CarPlay works when it wants to. Bought a wireless adapter and the same results. I think that’s the radio itself as I tried lots of Apple cables and different phones.I didn’t really notice any difference in sound. You lose some features that link up to the dash cluster.Settings for the remote and lights are gone so make sure you set them where you want them before you take of the factory head unit. The steering wheel controls work fine but that’s about as much integration. Not really a crisp display, a little washed out for my taste. The really nice thing is the bezel, it looks factory. I should have sprayed it to make the rest of the console. The install was easy(I own a body shop). So for me it not terrible but would have chosen something with a maestro vs PAC. Stinger rep said in one other post their engineers are working to improve it hopefully with future updates. I and doubtful.
