    Hey guys, first post !

I am looking to buy my first truck, and zeroed in on a Tundra. I have been looking at this one,

    https://www.crownnissan.ca/inventor...ickup-truck-in-winnipeg-mb-5tfdy5f14jx709367/.

It's a 2018 but pretty high kms. Its kms and Canadian $ since am up north. They have a safety inspection report attached on that page which shows they replaced 4 tires, serviced brakes and recharged AC. It was purchased at the sister Toyota dealership originally.

Service looks to have been performed at regular intervals. Curious what you all Toyota vets think about it ? It won't be driven a lot since I WFH, but still will see around 10k kms a year. Is it looking like a good buy or should I up my budget and look for one with lesser kms ?

I was thinking it seems like a pretty good price given the current market until I saw the odometer. I generally try to stay away from vehicles with more than about 20k km a year. However, that being said, this is a platform that's proven to go for a million miles so, if it's been well maintained, it could be worth it.

I would personally look for something with fewer kilometres but you're going to pay a fair bit more for that.

With the way the market is, you might want to look at other provinces like Saskatchewan and Alberta, just to make sure you're getting the best deal. Stay away from anything east of you because the rust will present an issue.

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! If they had to recharge the AC, there is likely a leak somewhere in the system. I would be wary of that.

It looks identical almost to the 2019 I just bought (Texas 85k miles). This is a proven platform, capable of a million miles (yes, really) if you take care of the basic maintenance. Mine is my 10th Toyota (if you count 3 used Lexi).

I will likely never buy anything not made by Toyota again. Many reasons, search for Kaizen and Takumi (not from the anime) for a deep dive.

    Welcome to peace of mind.

Thank you everyone for your replies. I took an extended test drive, the car had a weird ticking sound from AC, didn’t really feel right.

I have decided to keep looking and upped my budget to mid 40s, and will get something with lower kms.
Again, thank you for your help. Helped me make my decision.

Keep looking you can do better.
Just for reference I got my 2020 Crewmax Limited last March with 19,000 miles on it for $48k.

looks like someone works in farms with that mileage, check the chassis, Toyota trucks/suv have lousy factory under coating, I see you have a F30, get ready to spend way more on mods on a Tundra than BMWs.

Good on you for recognizing it wasn't the one. You'll find the right one.
