    Good morning,

2010 DC 5.7 Center console has the hanging file folder - and I was wondering how to remove the brackets that are attached to the actual console - essentially a hanging file folder delete.

i pushed, pulled, slid up, down, left right...no love on the removal...

    THANKS

They are just held on with plastic rivets. Simply drill out the rivets.

it turns out that the brackets on the "floor" of the console were not the issue - the issue was that some of the edges needed to be trimmed back in order for the safe to drop in cleanly - after i took some of the edges off - dropped in with no issues
