Hey Yall, New here on my 3rd Tundra. Have the 2022 Tundra Limited DBL Cab. Love it a lot but have some issues. Let me know your experience / remedies for the issues.

    • Weather stripping (Not the typical whistle from the rear weather stripping) from driver side and passenger side makes that rubber rubbing noise when driving. Super annoying anyone else have this?
    • Major throttle lag in all modes Like 1-2 second delay from pressing the accelerator till it registers making pulling into traffic a bit scary.
    • Voice control coming on at random times. Oddly for me it seems to be in the same geological locations.
    • Tons of rattling when stereo on about 20-30 volume.

You have the hybrid or nonhybrid drivetrain?

that’s wild about the voice control in the same locations.

There are so many QC issues regarding weather stripping, wind and rattling noises chances are most folks have them and either self fixed/diagnosed, took it to the dealer depending on how annoying they are or just ignoring most of them if not major annoyances and will take it it if they cause issues (like spring a leak or something - I am in this last camp).

Maybe the latest recall/advisory/service campaign for a reprogrammed ECU may help with the lag…see after they do it.

Either way if they bother you enough then just take it in to dealer and see what they can do for you.

I have the non hybrid. Ya Once she’s due for the 1st oil change I’m going to have them look at the issues I have so far. It almost feels like a pre production tune that needed refinement but they put it in the truck. I did get one of the 1st units for sure got the truck Mid January.

I have all these issues ! , aswell my settings don’t save if I select km it will start up as miles. I have to run in sport mode or I have a 3 second lag on acceleration. I believe it’s a weak volts. I was told by the dealer to turn my bass down because my doors rattle so much.

    Rci skid plate,
No acceleration issues here but I can say the infotainment system is lack luster for me. My system is constantly unpairing and CarPlay stops audio. Hopefully an update will come out to fix the issues but it’s frustration and seems to be a key cycle every time to reconnect it. Happens once a week or so.
