    Not sure about the last note concerning A/C…mine is set to “A/C mode with AUTO” and my A/C works all the time…I never have to turn it on with the A/C switch.

    The ac will be working just not fully on. With auto turned off on the head unit it will then turn the AC system on at all times. With auto setting and not having the icon lit up to A/C on it is using balanced air.

    The Automatic Climate Control is one of the most advanced features in the vehicle for passengers’ comfort. It manages the cabin temperature and humidity levels. You have to set the cabin temperature, and then the system controls the temperature, which does not depend on the outside temperature.

    Not a clue what you’re saying. My A/C works like the A/C in every vehicle I’ve had. I get in the truck, start it up, the A/C comes on automatically and blows cold air…if I raise or lower the temp the fan speed changes as necessary. With the head unit switched to the “off” position I have to turn the A/C in my truck to “ON” when I want to use it…which is everyday in south Mississippi.

    In the off position on the head unit the A/C ON icon is not illuminated. With it set to off the A/C icon once pushed will remain on forever. If you turn the truck off and turn it back on then the A/C icon will show as A/C On from now on anytime the truck is on. It is not balancing the air automatically.

    Or, you can turn it on on the head unit and the A/C will be on, the A/C icon will be lit and the truck will be air conditioned.

    Here is a video I made today. Notice how once I turn on Auto A/c on the head unit and turn off the truck the A/C on is no longer displayed anymore. It is reading ambient temps and automatically controlling fan speeds.
