A/C can be set via the Infotainment settings to default to A/C on all the time.

Bed rattle is more likely to be the tailgate…put a couple of pieces of foam rubber on each side to quiet it.

 

My bed rattles a lot too I would like to see an actual picture of where to put the foam rubber pieces, I did noticed the wires holding the tail gate when is Down are too loose when is closed.

my mpg is somehow bad too 15-16 mpg combined and that’s with the I-force max but I was getting less with My Tacoma.

 

How do I find the setting in the infotainment system if you dont mind sharing would greatly appreciate it.

Anyway you can tell me where to find that setting to default to A/C always on? would really appreciate that.

 

This is actually my first truck after wanting one since I was about 8 years old. I'm 38 now. In some ways, it only seemed fitting that I would end up having to wait months longer than I expected. But hey, what's a few months when we're talking about 30 years?

 

If it makes you feel any better, i've been waiting now 7 months for a non-hybrid Platinum LB. i've been told i'm no 1 out of 15 on order for this configuration at this dealer. Started at no 2 and moved up one spot. Every month I check and no allocation. I was told they have not gotten allocation for this model in 3 months. I feel your pain.

Contest through work and one of our suppliers. Truck was paid for 100%, including tax, title, and 1099 taxes. I'll have to cover the taxes on the check to cover the 1099 taxes...approximately $7K out of my pocket.

My first Tundra ... upgraded to BFG KO2 275/65 within the first week

 

Wow that is a 275/65/20? I’m buying same size this week and thought would look bigger. I love your look don’t take that saying wrong. I just am really glad I didn’t do 275/60/20.

 

Thanks! Discount Tire was concerned at first they would rub being 34's but after they tested it and did not rub said there was plenty of room left.

 

Oh yeh that is what we saw and were shocked at the 275/65/20 and the clearance. Looks great.

 

The long wait sucks for all of us for sure. I'm wondering if/when Toyota is not able to deliver the 2022 to folks who have a deposit with their dealer and get a 2023 instead, will it be at the 2022 price negotiated with the dealer? I don't know but I think we're ~3 months away and I'm not going to be happy if the dealer doesn't honor the price if I'm put in that pickle. BTW - Love your truck, I'm hoping to get the WCP on a 1794 instead.

All is well so far, no lift or level as of yet but I may do a front level later. There is no rubbing now so I am happy with it. I perhaps could have gone up to 285/65 but did not want to chance it. I also put on an RC tonneau cover at the same time. The RCI engine, transmission, and transfer case skid plates with cat guards have arrived, and plan to get them in tomorrow.

 

As long as no rub I’m happy I will do a small level but didn’t want to have to right away

I might in six months or so. I've never had a truck before, so I'm going to see what it's like to live with as an every day driver. My previous vehicle was a 2022 4Runner Limited, which I loved. I sold it for what I paid for it, and it had 5k miles on it.
