Well said. My truck still has the recall. Been there at the rail/port since 6/29. Who knows when they will get to it at this rate

 

Sometimes seems like they using LIFO instead of FIFO.. (for recall servicing at railhead)

 

So I called the automated line today for the railroad and it said it was "constructively placed" somewhere in Oregon, near its railhead of Portland. Can someone explain what that means?

 

I'm ok with that. So that means its delayed a few extra days most likely in a siding somewhere in Portland?

 

My truck was rail arrive on 7/18. I have not heard that it is on ground transport yet. I live in SW MI and the truck is in Chicago. I am assuming that since it’s not on its way yet there is probably no chance it’ll get here for a tomorrow morning/midday pickup?

 

Can someone check the status on 5TFPC5DB0NX006085 for me? Greatly appreciated!

 

@cdq85 or @Bobby Z, could you look at 5TFJA5DB9NX038030 and see if it moved out of QC hold.

Recall shows as complete so hoping it's out of QC hold and on truck for delivery or close to being on the truck.

Just wanted to say thanks to @Bobby Z and this thread. I lucked out after dozens of calls over the last couple weeks to track down a TRD Pro that was already allocated to a dealer in my area. Build was completed 7/14, hasn't moved to rail yet but is in F status... awaiting loading onto the rail, my dealer says. Good dude.
Hoping I get it in a few weeks. I checked recalls and there's nothing active for mine (5TFPC5DB2NX006573). I don't need anything looked up -just saying hello and thanks. This thread is helping the anticipation suck a bit less. haha.

It still says rail but delivery by 7/26. I checked my Vin for the recall and on Monday and it had the software recall. S I checked the Vin last night and it says no recall sooo i'm thinking it was off loaded and the software recall was completed? Since it now says no open recalls for the Vin.

 

I tracked it via the phone number from 6/29 to Lordstown delivery on 7/9. So I know its been at Lordstown since 7/9

Mine was "Constructively Placed" on 7/14. It has been sitting since then.
Based on previous posts, this means that it was delivered to Lordstown but is still sitting on a railcar waiting to be unloaded.

Earlier in the day I called the phone # on the recall page FAQ section. They couldn't explain the long hold at the rail facility but took my info.

May have helped because the truck is now serviced and scheduled for ground pickup!

thanks for checking! I find it so strange (and more work!) that from a database and api perspective that toyota appears to have a separate system(s) for Tundras destined for Canada, and no centralized portal/reporting system that dealers can use globally. Especially for Tundras, why not just use country destination code and filter that way? Should be pretty straightforward for them to have a slick portal that all dealers can use to get FULL info in one spot, along with dealer set alerts on their allocations, fully event based. (sorry now i'm just ranting to myself lol). I got a 1month sub to TIS, all it tells me is production date and when the infotainment OTA update was applied, nothing else, super weird.

Just got word that my truck made it to the Silverbow port...finally almost home! Anyone else had silverbow as their railyard? If so - how long from railyard to dealer? Specifically Spokane but any idea in the PNW would be helpful.

 

Congrats man!! Kind of weird but @TJCooke ’s got shipped to Portland… so I thought maybe they weren’t doing silver bow anymore.

Build date was 8 July...I originally had an allocation for one with a build date of early June but it hit QC while in transport, and I was offered a switch to a more loaded limited, so I jumped on it. Looks like this one will be here before my original one lol.
