Yeah it's strange how little humidity we've had this summer. My nasal passages ain't used to it...

It's hotter here than the transmission fluid in my 2019 Tundra.

Wow... that is warm for St. George; we use to pass through there all the time on our way up to Zion from Vegas, and it always seemed more mild.

92 in N VA right now. Humid as hell. I’ll take Yuma, AZ any day over this humid heat. Only plus here is that it is very green. Super weird how loud it is outside at 4a with all the critters.

Winter doesn't get that cold either... we might hit low 30s a few times a year, but normally we stay in the low 40s at night and high 40s to low 50s in the day! You just got to be okay w/some rain...

Well, lightning struck again. Our 2nd floor AC unit went out last night. I turned it off. AC guy came and looked at it a little bit ago. Compressor is seized. The unit is an 8-year-old 2.5 Goodman heat pump but the previous owner didn’t register it so no warranty. Looking into replacing it with a 2.5 ton 16 seer Carrier, if the air handler will work with it. I’m about done with summer.

How many rooms on your 2nd floor? Ours is just one large room and I might go with a mini split when I replace it.

Duuuuuuuude, I feel bad for you. We got our new system installed and it's running well but we've had a helluva time getting airflow prioritized in the right room(s). The Master is the warmest room in the house :(. Finally found out that there's an additional mini-plenum for 4 vents and the Master is one of them. Now gotta buy dampers for that.

Our trouble is nothing compared to yours though. Sorry man.
