Eibach Remote Resi Shocks are coming!

Any intro pricing on a full kit?

 

I talked to someone at Eibach and they are suppose to have those released on April 29th.

 

those years are for 2nd gen, but should work for 2.5 gen no?

 

No update on the website today unfortunately.

 

I called and got word that June 3rd is the new release date. They had some parts they were waiting for.

I noticed the years say 2007 to 2015. I'll have to ask to see why they wouldn't fit up until 21.

 

Yes this would suck .. as I’m a ‘16 and waiting on these to redo my suspension setup

 

I called today and the new eta is another month and a half away. I'm done waiting. I'm going to look at other suspension setups.

 

Why no RR for the front? Or a 2.5” model?

 

Am i just missing the listing? Pretty sure I don’t see them up on the site under suspension, anything going on yet?

 

Eibach has been telling me that their TRD Pro Spring lift kit will be avail for the tundra any month now. Every time i call i get a different answer or they push back the release 3 months. They may be going through some sort of supply issue or somethin and maybe thats why they didnt do a 2.5 version?

 

Considering these for my 2019. No serious offroading, bad roads, camping, fishing, fire roads.

Any reason I should avoid them? Looking to level and upgrade stock suspension at the same time.

 

Curious about these as well. I am looking for a suspension upgrade with minimal lift. I have a four wheel camper on part time. My off-roading is similar to @BravoDeltaRomeo , throw in a few rocks and shelves on the trail and that’s me.

 

A Canadian vendor we are buying some other stuff for my wife's Rav4 (Eibach lift springs, new rims) sale ends today.

I will most likely be ordering. I can't see how they will be bad and they will lift my front, which is mainly what I'm after.

I'm guessing they are too new to market for any feedback.

 

Ordered. I doubt they are in stock, but I sent my order in this evening.

After the sliders went on, my wife was OK with a small lift/level. I put the truck on blocks to simulate a 3" front lift (more than we will do) and had her get in and out. She gave the approval, so I ordered before she could change her mind.

 

I’d be willing to guess Eibach has done a good job and will do great given your type of off-roading.

as for the gentleman with the camper, i would consider a larger diameter shock with resi in the rear to help deal with the increased weight the truck has. Something with an adjustable shock can be highly beneficial for different weights and makes a huge difference.

 

@Luke_Skywalker rear rest’s for sure. When I camp, I bring everything so weight is a factor. Currently have the black sumos and it did ok on some some forest trails, but could be way better.

@BravoDeltaRomeo buy in is important with the fam.

 

Sumos will definitely help, but ride comfort comes from proper valving for proper spring rates. With valving giving you probably 70-80% of the comfort and the springs keeping you at the proper height for whatever it is you got. Good luck. Let us know how they ride once you get em.

 

For my set up the difficult part is most of the time, I don’t carry much load. I need to do my homework on valving. Side note, the OME BP-51 set up with a custom leaf pack from Deaver would be my ideal set up.

 

Thats why an adjustable shock is really handy. I dont have them on my tundra, but if i ever decide to replace my pro stuff ill get adjustable fox or king. I have icon on my FJ and theyre on the stiffer side of a shock. With that being said, i have them custom valved and theyre great. Plus i can dial it up or down, so when im loaded up for camping i stiffen them up and the body rolls considerably less, which makes for a much more enjoyable drive.

 

Ordered, but it's a 4-6week wait (I expected that).

 

It's all good. I'm in Canada, so shipping/duty would have been as much as the shocks.

I can wait a few weeks.

 

Come on @Doylfish get those shocks on and tell me they are worth it!
