I love the chrome on my truck. I am never changing it.

Ouch! At least you are enjoying your truck and using it more than just a commuter box. Take Care.

Replaced both my rear shocks today because one of them busted and was leaking oil on my driveway. Kind of strange that it busted at ~50k miles without any heavy towing. Decided to go with bilstein 4600’s.

I recall someone needed a 5.7 Engine cover. If anyone needs it I have one I don’t need anymore. Great shape. Figured I’d post here since I believe it was someone on this thread. Free just pay shipping. Also will post it in the for sale area.

I've seen cars totaled for a lot less. I guess it all depends on extent of damage vs market value, and with today's elevated values, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. As long as the shop did a good job, and didn't skimp on parts...it beats shopping for a new ride at a higher cost.

Been awhile since I've posted. Slowly been building up my tundra. Recently Added an ARE CX classic cap with windoors and other accessories. Also put on Firestone air bags with cradles, trd rear sway bar, and cali raised 32 inch combo bumper light bar. Few more things to add here soon. Got the esp long box and genuine cooling systems setrab transmission cooler to install.

I’ve done it in my 94 Land Cruiser before each oil change for many years. It had 334k on it and the internals still look brand new.

I had to have one replaced under warranty at its first service, I’m guessing it went out around the 4000 mile mark. No towing at all.

See! There's a market for that. My Mom used to tell us, "There's a lid for every trash can. Don't judge so quickly because to some people YOU are the trash can."

Changed the oil. The last one was a free one done by the dealer. I had to use a 30” breaker bar to get the oil filter housing loose. One of the screws that holds the plastic bumper to the skid plate was missing. I repaired it with tie wire. I need to get an RCI skid plate. Taking the factory sheet metal one off is for the birds.

What antenna are you using? I have a short one that had good reviews but the radio is super spotty at times. Wondering getting one a bit taller would help that.

Very nice. I'm thinking of doing the same. Better than spending 200 bucks for plastic replacements :)

They are manual. You can get power fold if you want to pay for it. I like them so far. I can actually see what's beside of me now.

Adding some storage spaces under my rear seat in Crewmax...
Removed seats, an peeled carpet back, removed foam.... cut larger openings. Cut the existing carpet as close as I could. But left front connected.
Added a screw per area to hold carpet tight too foam. (No glue) inCse I ever wanna change it.

I have the same tire and size. Love them. Have about 23,000 mile on them and they have at least another 30 to go. And yes, I lost 1 mpg over stock.
