They sound much better, even with the stock head unit.

not saying there isn’t much better options out there but I am very satisfied with them

I spent hours with various pieces of vinyl trying to do this with a razor blade a few months back. Where were you??!! ;). I really wanted to do matte clear but getting the air bubbles out of a clear piece of vinyl drove me nuts. When I did the meso swap I ended up pulling the original piece and painting it with a matte clear finish. I might still be in for one of these tho. I'm sure eventually my matte clear will start to wear. Maybe you can figure out a clear option that will lay down nice?

That looks good, gave me a "damn why didn't I think of that". I just plastidipped the right half and left the shiny shift marker side.

It's feedback like this that led me to pass on the Wildpeaks. There sure was a lot of hype around them when they first came out (back when they were roughly half the current price, lol). I've never had any pulling issues, shaking, or wandering with my Duratracs. They're supposed to be loud, but it hasn't happened yet in 27k miles. I do rotate them every 3-4k miles, though. I'd like to think that's why I don't have that loud road-slapping drone that many people experience. :notsure:

turn signals wired (rear and front facing) decided to do front turn instead of a DRL. No hyper flash*

I have some diode dynamic solid state switchback modules I used to run on the Tacoma but upgraded that project, I might use those on the tundra but I’ll need to look at it more for wiring. And if I can fit those modules in the mirror

I broke a light during install. Tightened it too hard. So I’ll live with a hole for a few days and pop a new one in when it arrives.

Didn’t finish wiring the puddles. Tucked in the door right now. I’ll leave that for another day when I find some new front door speaker. I put in some OE power bass ones, and not liking them at all. Sounds like a huge downgrade from stock on those. Bummer

Gave it a well deserved bath. This is my work truck, purchased October 2021. 42,000km and tows a 6000lb trailer virtually every day. Has Amsoil everywhere.

washed today with a plethora of chemical guys products, super impressed.

Have new tires on order. Trying some coppers for the first time. In the past I’ve run BFG AT’s and my last truck Goodyear wrangler duratracs. Can not justify the price for those now so trying the Cooper discovery rugged treks

I installed Sequoia front sway bars part number 48811-0C030. Fairly straightforward to do. I'm not sure I can actually tell the difference lol.

I don't have photos but I swapped it my black door handles with chrome ones that I got from @BiggHertz some time ago.

I believe another member on here, @Kernal, wanted the black take offs however I haven't heard back from him yet.

Installed AJT console blackout kit, gator floormats (hard to beat at $115), imposter TRD black shifter from Amazon (looked like original Toyota to me but I’ve never held a real one), and caliraised lower bumper light bar brackets but my bar was too narrow so just the brackets for now. Have a OEM style switch to hook up in one of the blanks instead of a rocker. Ordered another bar today. I’ll make this one work one way or another.
Edit: Also did full VLED interior swap, didn’t get to the footwell light kit. Had a long day lol

Chrome in the right dosage can look good. This is, of course, just my opinion.

Mine is due for an oil change in 300 miles so I added some Sea Foam to the oil and drove it to the mountains for a weekend getaway with the family. Next weekend I’ll change the oil. I’ll be using my fumoto drain valve for the first time after being installed.

I’ve ran sea foam in every two stroke boat motor I’ve ever had, never have I heard of someone putting it in their oil. I’ll have to do some digging on this

Finally got around to applying the Duracoat dressing on my wheels. Should have seen my neighbors looking at me and probably thinking I have severe OCD since I had to clean the tires five times to get everything stripped off of them. This was over the course of two weeks though. Turned out pretty good and hopefully will last a long time.

I panned on it. I’ll get there.

Just felt incomplete with the broken light, didn’t finish the puddles and the awful speaker.

I took more pics but I’ll get to it when I have more time to elaborate specs
