Anyone know where I can get some stock flares or some good aftermarket one. I have the chrome strip and I am not a fan of it. I really like the bolt on look for the 2nd and 3rd Gen aftermarket flares but can't find anything like that for the first Gen.

    Thanks anyone

I wanted more of the factory look. These are the EGR brand ones. Look more like my old Ivan Stewart ones on another truck.
    Good quality and fit great.

I also enjoy the bushwacker brand of available flares.

He thanks guys. I've looked at both those two brands they look good. I think I'll try to see if I can find some stock ones in a salvage yard somewhere in decent shape. I just really dislike that chrome strip and would much rather have flares. I'll probably strike out and end up buying the bushwackers.

Are you talking about chrome strip on top of the fender well? Any pic?

I am not sure about the 1st gen, but Toyota doesn't make pocket style fender flares (bolt-on look, I am guessing) for the later gen. You will have to go after-market.

I have Bushwacker and I like them.

From what I could find out. The stock ones attach with clips on the fender. So you have to find a way to drill square holes for the factory clips and line them up.
The aftermarket attaches just with screws in the wheel well. Also EGR ones stick out just a little less than the bushwacker. And the EGR ones you can still use the mud flaps if you want. Not with the bushwackers. Bushwackers seem to be more popular if like the look and dont mind not using mud flaps

Oh OK Thanks. I had no idea about the holes in the fender. That's really helpful info, I was wondering the compatability with the mudflaps and different types. I guess I'll be changing my last statement on stock fenders. Not into drilling square holes lol.

Just thought I would mention. I got the EGR ones because I did not think it looks good with a fender flare that sticks way past the tire. And so I could use the OEM mud flaps. But never did get around to putting the mud flaps back on yet, think it may look a little better without them. But you do have the option. Also in my pic I do have a one inch lower kit in the rear and tires are just a little over sized.

Just bought, so I have only mounted a holster under the steering wheel, disabled the DRLs and plasticoated the grill. But I am open to ideas!
I have been looking for some just like you have RR60. Those look really good. Where did you get them?

Hold the Line! If you are not holding the line, abandon your ship. Destruction is inevitable without more to hold the line!
That is one fancy truck! Love the color and the wheels match so well. If only it had a brush guard on the front and the Title had my name on it, lol.
