is there anyway to increase the output of the stock amp?

When I had my 18 crewmax I had the head unit replaced so I could use Android Auto, the guy that installed it said he turned up my stock amp. My 21 crewmax volume absolutely sucks and I'd like to try the amp deal before I spring for a new head unit.

Anything I can do?

I don't think that there is any adjustments. I say go for a whole new audio system.

 

Turned up the stock amp! Thats the biggest bs I have ever heard. Hope you didnt beleive him. I wouldnt trust that guy anymore.
Tundra stock amps are, and most probably will be crap forever. Some say that’s because of the weight others say that its because of space or budget. I have no idea whats true but they are crappy systems and non adjustable.
New system is your best bet.

 

The problem isn't just the amp, it is the HU and shit speakers.
Does your Limited have JBL?

You can try to keep the stock HU and just add an amp (replace the stock amp).
You could even replace the amp and try the stock speakers.
I'd suggest a 5 channel because you are going to want a decent sub setup.
